Das Fenster zeigt zwar nach aussen, aber gegen die Bergwand.
Eine oder zwei Koffer-Ablageflächen, Kühlschrank und ein Kaffeekocher wären 'nice to have'

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Service was also very good.
The only negative thing was that our room was right next to the main road and was noisy.
Overall, we were very pleased.
We had a nice stay at Colibri. Det room was big and the owner gave us a lot of information. Monkeys com in the evening and we saw a lot of parrots.
We will stay there again if we come back.
The hotel is in really great shape, the room was big enough and was perfectly clean. The swimming pool might need some work.
The owner was of a lot of help and treated us like friends.

Meh
Bare bones with a hotel price. No mini fridge, no safe, wifi didn't work remotely so I'd consider it no wifi either.
The owners were nice enough but the rooms weren't very clean and we had to ask for towels, even though ours were on the floor and soaked so obviously needing to be replaced. The shower soaked the room if it was turned on to any real pressure.
The fan was fantastic.
Great location. But if you're looking for much above a hostel, this isn't it.

Great host, great location. However, the main street in this area is INCREDIBLY noisy, Sleeping was difficult. Also, the bed wasn’t comfortable, WiFi didn’t reach our room and the pool didn’t look very fresh.
I would recommend staying far away from this place
Never again. The owner entered our room 3 times without permission, we asked for no service for the 1-1/2 days we were there. The 3rd time we caught him going in & he said he was "looking for a light", it was 10am & sunny. When we checked out the wife apologized & said he thought we left, we were sitting on the veranda & never turned the key in & when he opened the door he could clearly see our stuff laying all over as we were still packing it all up. The room smelled so moldy and musty we had to turn the a/c on and leave for a bit for the air to circulate some of the smell(?), when we got back it was turned off & room still smelled really awful even after we turned it back on. A glass, partially see thru privacy door between toilet room (which had no curtains) & bed - so no privacy. Hot water didn't work unless someone flipped the fuse every 3 seconds, so 2 people need to be there for you to get a decent warm shower. Room #9 is not with the rest of the hotel, there is no wifi in the room & it's by the road which is extremely loud until 3am & picks up again at 6am, so don't plan on sleeping. Had to kill roaches in the room & there was a lizard (I was ok with the lizard but some might not be). There's a huge gap at the bottom of the door, anything could get through. Door doesn't have a safety lock & I didn't feel safe at all, especially considering the owner thinks it's ok to enter the room at any time he wants to. He did give me free coffee the one morning.
The hotel was very nice and situated between Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park.
The hosts were very kind and helpful.
The room was spotless clean and spacious. The garden and pool was cosy.
I can highly recommend this hotel.
Nice place to stay near Manuel Antonio wish is the main interest. Nice and clean swimming pool to rest at the end of the day before going for supper. The room was excellent, new and clean everyday! ( need a curtain in the toilet window ;)
A mini fridge in the room could have been great to have our drinks and water cooler!
no breakfast included ( so you will need to add 10$ to 13$ per person to your bill per day). Not only at this property but all around is the same, so you might want a place where is included.
I found this exaggerated for breakfast in a country like that where an egg costs nothing in the market.
The owner is really kind and helpful with anything you need.
Really loved our 4 nights stay .
Thanks
Room was clean, breakfast was fresh and delicious, pool was great. Very convenient location. Staff was very welcoming and helpful.

The Owner, I believe was friendly, beautiful grounds and nice room, however the room had strong musty smell-no amenities-no refrigerator, coffee maker or safe, no extra blankets or washcloths.
Bugs were crawling on walls and floor and we kept hearing loud noise on ceiling like something was going to crawl through. Found out later large iguana. Our room close to road and was very noisy, Smoking was right outside our room as well as entrance to property. We ended up leaving, although the owner offered different room, we felt that this was not a place worth the 4.7 review. PS, we had stayed at several small family run hotels during our stay so that is not the reason for this poor review.
The other rooms may be better, however, ours had major problems. First, very bad smell from excessive moisture. Second, the toilet and shower are not acoustically separated from the bedroom, so bathroom sounds and smells make your feel like you are sleeping in the bathroom. Third, the electric water heater has a major flaw so that that its circuit breaker trips while you take a shower and later you are not aware that there is not going to be hot water unless you reset the circuit breaker. The owner did not mention this problem and did not bother to make sure we had hot water the first night, so we had to take a cold shower. Fourth, the wifi signal was too week and the only way to use the wifi was to go to a different location.
This was a vacant property that has been repurposed as a hotel. The rooms are very nicely furnished with all new fixtures and bedding. It is family owned and operated and the proprietors are very welcoming and accommodating. This hotel is located midway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio within walking distance to Amigos Del Río and LaLuna restaurant. It is very secure. I would stay again.
