Enjoyed our stay

We had a great stay and paid a fair value for a beautiful room with lake and volcanos view. It is true the hotel needs some updating, specially in tje exterior pool, garden and painting. Some interior details were already updated and very nice. We loved the reading room, the poems along the walls and the corridors lights.

Stayed here for four nights with my son. The front desk service we received from Felipe was top notch! He was so polite and gave us a wonderful welcome. He went over all the amenities and was so helpful when we had questions. The staff in the spa were wonderful as well. I wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to return for another visit soon!

The hotel is well designed but needs some refreshing. Carpeting needs replacing everywhere and the chippy painted tile in the spa showers made it look gross. However: staff was very helpful and we really enjoyed our stay!

This hotel could be so much more with maintenance.

Large spacious room that was nicely appointed. Professional and attentive staff with easy check in and helpful manner. Room: spacious and nicely appointed, comfortable bed, but there was a toilet leak, lukewarm shower, and the carpet was so dirty that it turned the souls of my feet black. Common areas: inside and outside lack maintenance. Location is great. We paid for a lake view but the trees were overgrown and blocked much of it. Breakfast had many items to choose from and a large veranda to watch the sun glisten over the lake. Okay value for money.

Due for maintenance

Very nice hotel with a decent restaurant. However, when you "scratch the surface", it seems to have suffered a bit from neglect over time in the common areas, including the gym which has a humidity issue. Despite all of this, I would recommend staying here.

Very friendly staff, they gave us good guidance about what to do. Very clean and close to the center of Puerto Varas. Sadly the access to the backyard was not open I guess because of the season. I enjoyed reading the poems in the walls.

Worst hotel experience ever

It was an absolutely horrible experience. From the point of check in until our voluntary early departure, we never felt welcomed, appreciated, safe, or any friendly nature del any of the staff. The rooms are not as advertised both size and view wise. The keyed my car and overall I say STAY away from this place.

Es un hotel muy viejo, las habitaciones son amplias, pero se nota que no han invertido. Alfombras sucias, muebles deteriorados. El aire acondicionado va sobre el escritorio, el de.nuestra habitacion no funcionaba, asi que el.personal del hotel nos cambio de habitacion. Desayuno pobre, ni siquiera omelet te pueden hacer. Piscina sucia y oscura. No lo volveria a repetir.

Desorganização, banho frio, falta de energia

Mais de 20 dias antes da hospedagem troquei emails com o hotel para que 1 dos aptos tivesse 2 camas de solteiro e recebi a confirmação. Ao fazer o check in as reservas eram para 2 camas de casal e nem se quer tinham a informação dessa solicitação, pra piorar, não haviam como fazer a alteração na mesma categoria e com aptos próximos, pois não havia disponibilidade. Havia me hospedado nesse hotel há 2 anos e meio atras, no inverno e já havia reclamado do banho frio, principalmente quando se retorna dos passeios a menos de 0ºC e a única coisa que vc deseja é um banho bem quente. Retornei agora acreditando que após todo esse tempo e certamente diversas reclamações, isso tivesse resolvido. Embora a temperatura externa estivesse mais quente que antes (agora é primavera), ainda sim tive que reclamar do banho frio. Informam que a temperatura da caldeira é de 40ºC, porém essa temperatura chega até o chuveiro. Mesmo apenas abrindo a agua quente a agua sai morna e vc passa frio. Como é primavera a calefação do hotel está desligada então não há como se aquecer. No ultimo dia acabou a luz, tínhamos horário para sair devido ao horário do voo. Acordei e não tinha como tomar banho pois não há gerador de energia no hotel, um absurdo maior ainda. Não tinha nem como escovar os dentes, pois nem agua fria estava bombeando para a pia, nem luz de emergência funcionava. A chave do apto também não funciona e a recepção não sabia como resolver. O hotel é incrível, pecam pelo mínimo e necessário.
