It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way there is a bit rustic so be sure to have a 4 by 4 and come during the day so you can see the nature while driving. You cant go wrong.

Lodging was immaculate, bed comfortable. Zayro was very accomodating once he found me a quarter mile up the really heinous dirt road since there doesn't seem to be a reception area. it's a 20 minute ride in from the paved road on one of the gnarlier dirt roads I've been on and there is no food or drink once you get there, so bring what you need.

The room was very clean and nice, although there was a big crack under the door so a lot of little critters could come in which was kinda cute with the exception of a scorpion that stung my boyfriend. Zayro was very communicative and friendly. The pool was also very clean and private which was great. My biggest gripe is the drive there is about 20 minutes of very bumpy off-roading which we were not made aware of. There is also no cell service on this road so if you get stuck with a flat tire, you may not be able to get help easily. Also, I believe they turned off our AC remotely since we left it on for a while. That was a bit irritating. other than that, we enjoyed our stay!
