Find hotels in Prehistoric Trackways National Monument, NM from AED 211

"Do not book here. This was such an awful experience. We booked two rooms for 6 people. After a 3 hour drive, we showed up and they said they had overbooked by hundreds and every other hotel was also booked, so basically good luck. Then suddenly they had a king bedroom available so we went with it for all 6 of us because there was no other option. The hotel was dirty, smelled, had so many people walking in and out, dirty, and a man who had keys to all the rooms was offering us other rooms which was sketchy. But without any other option we chose to stay the one night. We visited the front for extra blankets and towels and was told “we don’t have any, you guys only put 1 person in the room, so we can’t accommodate extra”. I had no words for this. We actually put 6 people and asked for two rooms, but I guess that was still our fault. The next morning, not hot water for showers. No notification of it also. As we left, they asked if it was because the hot water was out, so they knew and didn’t inform us."

"This property is old and worn. Definitely needs to be updated. Room was dirty, curtains frayed, chair was stained, towel rack bent, refrigerator noisy, TV remote poorly repaired. Breakfast Room is way too small relative to the number of rooms in this hotel. Ran out of coffee and milk. No housekeeping due to being “short staffed”. Will not stay at another La Quinta again."

"The breakfast was very good. Parking was good. The property is dated. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner and the door to the room was dirty. Also loud guests in the hall at 1:00 in the morning. "

"A/C worked. Room looked clean at first but the sheets were stained. There was urine marks all down the front of the toilet and the towels did not feel or smell fresh. They offered another room which also had urine all down the toilet and stained sheets. Water pressure was horrible and we ran out of hot water within 2 minutes. The guy at the front desk was irritated about our concerns. He gave us pool towels in exchange and were covered in hair. "

"We stayed for 2 nights and it was nice. Disappointed that the pool wasn’t open yet but other than that it was clean. Breakfast was ok and the beds were comfortable."
