Great Deal.
I have traveled the USA and have stayed at many 5 star resorts in an out of the country. If you are looking for a clean room and very comfortable bed, this is for you at a great rate for the location. We had a Limo pick us up for the Tobin James event and had no problems while at this location. New TV and cable were installed while we were there.
Perhaps not the friendliest staff but they are busy running this assumed to be family owned business so give them a break. We are staying again in March and this time taking some friends its us. Great deal for the area.
This was the worst hotel we ever stayed in.it was smelly, dirty, and reprehensible. Stay at your own risk. The towels had spots, the carpet stunk, was stained, the bathroom has 1950s fictires, rust. The comforters are old, the pillows the cheapest you can find. Awful. We couldn't get out fast enough.
It is a charming place. The Oak trees were beautiful. We loved the upstairs room. Not to many rooms. The Family that is working there was great. I left my purse and they saved it for me and tried to contact us. I will be visiting there again!

Its ok
Keep in mind this hotel is old!!! Needs an urgent remodel. It was clean and convinient. The electrical could use some work. Bathroom was a bit small but functionable. I would say a bit overpriced for what we paid.

Good, Reliable Motel
I go to Paso Robles often on business, and I usually stay at this Travelodge. Nothing fancy, but the rooms and bathrooms are spacious. All the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Two years ago, all the mattresses were replaced and they are very comfortable. Many of the bathrooms are also newly renovated.

People Skills Lacking
Front desk not to friendly. Did not give me any receipt because booked online. They made me feel that they were doing me a favor instead of me doing them one by staying there.
Run down part of town, room was extremely outdated. Needs updating bad!!! Loud. Didn't expect much but was still disappointed and would rather sleep in the car. Paid way too much for a night here. Waited to get home to take a shower
The hotel was terrible the bathroom was disgusting and when finally my husband and I were trying to relax and forget about the condition of this hotel we turn the tv on and the volume was not working properly and the image had a line in the middle of the picture. We didn't expect luxury from this hotel because we pay only $156 for the night but for that money we were expecting something similar to motel 6 but this hotel was like we were in a poor hotel in the middle of nowhere town. My husband was so upset that we decided to packed our staff and go home since we live 4 hours away, THANKS EXPEDIA AND TRAVELODGE TO RUIN OUR VACATION my husband was upset with me because I made the reservation, we didn't speak each other all the way home...since Expedia has this kind of hotels I will be more careful next time I has to make a reservation.
Extremely rude and abrupt treatment on my arrival at the Paso Robles Travelodge by a gentleman who insisted that there was no vacancy. When I insisted that I had booked and paid, he asked, "how?"...He then walked off to escort someone else to their room and when he returned, I asked to check in, he rudely walked ahead of me and entered the confirmation number I gave him in the computer. He then slapped registration documents on the counter and huffed at my questions to clarify requested information; he treated me as if I were an annoying inconvenience. In the sparse room, my son was bit by bedbugs, of which I took photos. I have written to Travelodge to request a refund due to the severity of the resulting problems with this room. Unacceptable behavior and unacceptible hygiene standards. I was unable to eat the breakfast because I was fearful of bacteria and other germs that might be lurking.

Simple place to stay for a night
The room was clean and simple - it's all we needed for a one night stay. The bathroom is very small but, again, it has the basics for a short stay. This hotel is right next to a school so I suspect it can be noisy if you're staying during weekdays; we didn't have a problem with noise but we stayed on a Friday night to Saturday morning.
Close to the wineries, friendly staff, clean hotel perfect fit for us

$116 for this dump is ridiculous!
Needs painting at a minimum. Total dump. Depressing.

Not as bad as people would think
I booked this room to stay in town for a training class. I knew that the room was not 5 star accomdations, so yes Im getting what I paid for and the price was fair. The room is old but did not have that musty smell you would normally think would be there and was clean. Bathroom is small but worked just fine for being by myself although the lighting in the shower could be better. The bed was fine, but nothing to rave about as it was not plush, but not firm either. Carpet could be replaced. Only real complaint I had was the large amount of mosquitos in the room and all the smushed bodies of them on the walls and ceilings.

It'll Do
Prime example of getting what you pay for. Nothing to brag about but the price.
I would not recommend it. Way below standards. Bathroom was gross. No bath towels. No alarm clock. Still has old tube tv w/cable that cuts in and out. Heater was loud as hell. Moths flying around my room. I book for 2 nites but check out after 1 and checked into a nicer hotel.

A bit dirty and a bit noisy. Stains on the floor, holes in the sheets.
