We had a great time!

My family and I had an amazing time at Encantada. The place was so quaint and cozy and we felt very welcomed. My kids loved the pool and the easy beach access. They also loved the 2 resident cats on the property. Our meals were some of the best we've had in Costa Rica, especially the whole fried red snapper at dinner time. Would definitely come back!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The pool was great for the whole family. The restaurant and ocean views were fantastic. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Paradise Found

The BEST place I ever stayed (and I’ve traveled a lot). Close to Quepos/Jaco and not far from Manuel Antonio. The food was great, the customer service was excellent, the cottages super cute and beds very comfortable. The pool right outside our cottage and the ocean always in view with outdoor beds and hammocks = dream spot! Yoga was awesome. I will recommend Encantada to all. It is an oasis and was exactly the vibe we were looking for!

Very peaceful and relaxing property. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are kept clean on a daily. The chef is flexible with your meal substitutions and requests. The food is fresh with healthy options . Transportation offsite for exploration is hard as well as pricey especially if traveling solo. Other than that everything was wonderful.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, and beach front property. The cottage is located in a much quieter town of Parrita, which is 1 hour north of Manuel Antonio NP and Quepos area. We loved how peaceful and away from the big tourists area this place is. There's a restaurant and bar in the property which is a nice option. Breakfast is included which a good plus. The pool is heated and a pretty good size for lap swim. We really liked this hotel but there are two negative factors and that's why i rated it a 3 star. First, there's a strong musty smell in our cabin. It's the type of smell that permeates that whole room and it stuck to our luggage and all our clothing materials even after washing them. I believe the smell is coming from the humidity, rain, and all the moisture from the ocean. It's simply stuck in the old wood structure and no amount of air freshener can cover it. The other issue we had are the dogs in the area. They tend to bark and howl past midnight and can be quite disturbing. i suffer from insomnia and being woken up in the middle of the night pretty much kills my whole sleep cycle. We ended up leaving much earlier than we had booked. Overall, our cabin was clean but it could use a lot of TLC and maintenance. The fridge in our room was very small, old, and had rusty grate. The furniture were quite old.

Amazing Energy

This space is absolutely wonderful. We had an amazing time at this beachfront resort. We stayed in a poolside cabin. The bed was the most comfortable of my 4 different locations this trip. It was well appointed with extra pillows, speakers, lamps, outdoor sink and a close line. The AC worked great and was much needed. We enjoyed the salt water pool, the drop in yoga sessions lasting 1.5 hrs and all of the ocean front seating/lounging options. Their chef is amazing! All of the food was top notch, no matter what time of day. Even if you are not a guest here, I would take the time to eat at this restaurant. They have live music on Thursdays from 4-6 with a discounted happy hour. Some local artists set up the wares to shop as well. Communication was excellent both pre-stay and during. They were extremely helpful with directing and assisting us to local tours and setting up our own private driver, Andrea. The black sand beach is beautiful, not crowed and stretches forever. Sunset is a must. During the day that sand is blistering hot, wear flops or run for the water line. Tiffany works really hard to ensure her guests are comfortable, have their needs met, all while directing the beehive of cleanliness and service. Everyone's energy here is very special. They feel like a lovely family and not just staff working a job, EVERYONE! I would recommend this space to anyone, especially those not interested in the hubbub of Jaco. This space is created with love to share with others. Yessss

We absolutely loved our stay at this relaxed, quaint and chill facility. The pool, beach and beach amenities are superb. It is not a busy place - perfect for people and families looking to escape the high energy of the city or beach towns. The cottages are very well-maintained, well-appointed, quiet and clean. Food is great and service is excellent. We highly recommend recommend the yoga and surf lessons, too!

Excellent Stay

We are a family of 4 and we got the room right in front of the pool. Room is clean and the pool is just a few steps away from our room. My teenager daughters love it. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent! The beach is just right in front of the hotel. In the late afternoon, you can see the thick clouds and storm coming in. I would strongly recommend this place if you are looking for a quaint and safe beach town.
