A nice place to stay
A lovely location with good access to many interesting places worth visiting. The sea view was rather obscured by trees and only visible when standing on the balcony. The hotel was immaculately clean and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tavernas nearby within walking distance and only a 20 minute drive to Parga or 10 minute drive to Loutsa for a wider choice of eatery. A nice cool place for lunch is at Gliki, about 30 minutes north east, where there are tavernas beside the Acheron river. The downside was that the sea was rather cold, due to to Acheron river flowing into the bay. There are several sections of sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach which are free when you buy a drink from the tavernas. July and August is expected to be busy with many campers along the back of the beach. There are some lovely coves nearby worth exploring. All in all a nice place to chill out on the beach and also to take in some sights.
