"We usually love this place for our kids. It’s almost like a glam camping experience since you’re on the shore and can roast marshmallows til late in the hours, and have access to beach activities. I love that this place is clean and has hard surface floors (I hate carpet), but this year I was slightly disappointed by the loud AC, weird hotel smell ( it’s like that cigarette smell without cigarettes), and uncomfortable beds. I really hope this place isn’t losing it’s charm that we usually come back for every year."

"Staff was really wonderful! Very clean room and hallways! Restaurant/ bar in lobby. Very good central location for visiting major tourist sites in L.A. , such as walk of fame, Jimmy Kimmel and very close to subway. Also, one stop from Universal studios Hollywood! Would definitely stay there again. Also, a gas station is next door and Hollywood sign is visible from hotel."
