Nice up to date basic room.

Limited amenities and super firm pillows. Staff was great and very accommodating with helping us with the broken fan in our room.

Coming during the winter, there isn't much you can do or see, but it was relaxing. Only downside was there wasn't microwaves or fridges in the regular rooms, but the front desk was super kind to lend us one from the other rooms for the night.

Casino Show Visit

Hotel was very convenient to casino. Restaurant had good food and friendly staff. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Some areas of hotel look a little worn but overall good experience.

Property is a little outdated, but the opportunity for a great time is still there. The golf course and lake are right outside your door.

Saddened Stay

There was no welcoming atmosphere. The room was tired. It was disappointing that on a Saturday there was no effort to welcome guests especially for a “resort”. They should hire a remote bar and had a fire out back on the nice patio, instead nothing. There was no instruction as to what facilities the Hotel guests could use. Sad

Excellent resort, staff are friendly and helpful. We had the place to ourselves, the patio area with the fire pit was very nice to enjoy a glass of wine and good conversation. The restaurant has unusual items on the menu but surprisingly are very good. We will definitely be coming back!

Overall the place was really nice. The rooms were clean! However there is no one at the desk from 8pm-8am which is really weird. I tried checking out at 8:30 and no one was there. Our heat was set at 76 and boiling hot! The thermostat would go down but the heat wouldn’t. Extremely uncomfortable trying to sleep in that plus the bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Also there was no room service. Never been to a place that didn’t offer that. I’m sure in the summer it’s different. Prices for the Inn are great! I’m sure we will be back

Nice stay!

We went up for a concert at Grand Casino and stayed here at the hotel. Very clean and quiet. The room was very simple but had everything we needed. Next to the hotel was their bar and grill. Great staff and the food was wonderful. We Will definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

I was disappointed that this hotel did not have shuttle service available to its guests to the near by casino (9 miles away). The only recreational opportunity’s avail in the winter are snowmobiling and ice fishing but what if a family member doesn’t enjoy any of these activities but does enjoy the casino? Rooms did not have small refrigerators nor microwave and thought those two particular items are important if your a nursing mother, have a infant that consumes milk or medication that requires refrigeration. We were lucky the hotel did have a ice machine which then we were able to problem solve and drove into town to purchase a cooler for our weekend stay. Issue 3. As we carried our luggage into the hotel side door, I tripped and fell causing a large bruise on my knee cap and bruised my left palm. I tripped on a 3” step-uneven part of the sidewalk. Although, this uneven part of the sidewalk was probably caused by the constant changes of the Minnesota frost I was disappointed that staff hadn’t found this particular sidewalk area unsafe and at minimum properly identify hazard using a temp marker or safety cone. Sidewalk was nicely shoveled due to falling snow but I’m surprised the person shoveling hadn’t identified this concrete unevenness as a hazard.

We enjoyed our overnight stay. Just 2 things ... the beds were way too firm for our liking & the water has a rotten egg smell to it. Other than that...A reasonable rate on a Holiday though!

Great Place to Stay

Check-in, check-out was very smooth. Except for the bathroom room mirror, everything was clean. It was a quiet and spacious room. We will definitely stay again!
