Amazing stay, and so close to the beach!

The room was so clean, set up so nicely, and so convenient. Only stayed one night, but highly recommend, and definitely will be staying here again in the near future. Location manager was so nice, and helped with all questions that I had.

Great spot!

The Wanderlust Inn is a great little spot in Ocean Shores. The room was clean, bed comfortable, great amenities! And the location is amazing! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Cute remote-managed motel

This studio room was cute and comfortable in a location walkable to the beach. It was a little weird for a motel of this size not to have an on-site manager. Wanderlust Inn is owned by "Pike Hospitality Group". Pike was responsive by phone when I called to arrange arriving a day early, however VRBO messaging during the stay took longer. The room door keypad locking mechanism is fussy. I always had to do the workaround of pulling out on the door handle during unlocking to get inside. Very thin blanket on the bed for a winter rental, but the heater worked. Be aware that if you have a problem while staying here, there is no one on site whose job to help you resolve it. There may be safety hazards unknown to the remote management. When I was there, the property was being renovated and there were often trip hazards (cables across stairs, power tools in walkways).

We enjoyed our stay. I usually look for a place with a kitchen or kitchenette so that was a missed amenity.

Sheets were not changed

Sheets were not changed when we got there. As we were going to sleep we felt something wet… I’ll let you guess what it was. Previous folks left a present. We ended up leaving that night because we we didn’t plan on sleeping on hazardous material, especially while my wife was pregnant. The property manager ended up refunding most of our stay aside from the Vrbo fees. Location is great, nice place otherwise, but I wouldn’t recommend people going here because of the cleanliness.
