Work stay.
A 1 night stay for work reasons. The pub and food are excellent with a good selection at a reasonable price. My room was comfortable but very cold due to the old leaking sash windows. All in all for the price it's ok for a 1 night stay.
Very comfortable accommodation and good breakfast. The only constructive comment I’d make is the bathroom was modern & spacious yet had a tiny wash basin & mirror with no shaving light.
Great place this and so handy being close to the motorway so I will definitely use it again.
The team are friendly and the breakfast very good. The rooms are warm, comfy, well equipped and clean.
I didn’t get chance to eat as I arrived late.

Wonderful little Bed & Breakfast in a lovely quaint little town. The service is fantastic, super friendly and helpful staff. The food is delicious, and it has a great pub & patio as well.
Did the job but won’t be returning. For example: 1) Electric shower with poor pressure and either boiling hot or lukewarm. 2) Basic bed with thin mattress. 3) No desk. 4) Music blaring from the pub bar until 10:30pm.

Good value hotel
One night business trip in August 22. Very warm friendly welcome at the bar, checked in and shown to the room, which is in an adjoining building behind the main pub. Room was large, as was the bathroom, and both were clean. The bathroom was a little tired and could do with updating but it was all in working order.
Went to the bar for evening meal and got another warm friendly welcome, food and drinks were well priced and food was very good.
Bed was comfortable, but no air conditioning or fan on a very warm night meant it was not the best nights sleep.
Breakfast was a included and was ok, although nothing special and the service for this was pretty poor. Had to go and ask the waitress if I could order the food, was not given the choices that other people were offered, and generally she seemed uninterested in looking after the customers, very different from the other staff the night before.
Overall a nice place and I will almost certainly stay there again.
Nice pub in the centre of a lovely village. check in and out quick and easy, plenty of parking onsite. There is a small co-op store opposite. Stayed in room 12 above the entrance to the pub which had the advantage of excellent wifi connection. Room was large and comfortable. It did seem to have a fly issue on arrival but once these were dealt with, no further problem. Evening meal was good and breakfast was excellent. All staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again if working in the area.
