The hotel is a lovely place and the host great however our sleep was often interrupted by other hotel guests who were quite loud. This is hardly the fault of the host but something to think about nonetheless.
The host was great and the breakfast freshly made but at times the host was a bit stretched especially when she had to serve three families at the same time totaling upto 8 people.
Lovely reception area, with tropical fish tank and turtles, was very relaxing and blissful watching them swim around, loved it!! Very friendly and homely place to stay!! Thank you
Owner Sarah was a nice lady as well as warm and welcoming. Room size was decent and enough for 3 adults or a family of 3. All and all nice experience and budget friendly.
Enjoyable 2 night stay. Breakfast between 7.30 and 9.30 you can pick your time. Each room set up with double and single bed.

Great location and service in basic room
Sarah, the owner, gave fantastic service and made great efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for Lusty Glaze beach (or Newquay beach/town centre), the breakfast was reasonably priced as an extra, and parking was free.
The room was basic and a little tired, but given the positives it was good value for money. Wouldn’t have stayed if planning to spend lots of time in the room, but was a great base to explore.
We loved our stay and Sarah was very accommodating. The room was lovely with a nice little breakfast space with great company on the other side of the window. We will be sure to come back on our next visit.
Lovely friendly place massive breakfast to set you up for the day with plenty of home made jams and dried fruit to sample with the toast and. Muselie home from home with Sarah looking after all our wants and needs will be staying there again next time in jewquay
Some basic uncleanliness but nothing too offensive (pet hair & general grime)
In the early hours of the morning the owners dogs will kindly wake you up by barking at the window, however you'll most likely already be woken by the ridiculous skylight above beds (with no way of covering) (these have not been painted as she will try and respond to this, as she has done previously to someone else)
Host had a rather poor attitude towards some guests, and took her time to moan about them to other guests - unreasonable complaints.
Wasn't very impressed overall by her bad attitude, which sadly ruined this for us, i would have left no review and let the downfalls of the B&B slide if i wasn't to hear of just how rude and intimidating she was to a young girl.
Defensive and Argumentative - do not try and ask for anything.
She will no doubt, leave a hostile and rude response to this review as she has done to many others, which will be filled with lies. She doesn't accept that she may be the problem and will respond to this with anything possible to get out of her looking bad and probably say that we were horrible and aggressive guests (please read) We even know it to be true that she writes her own reviews on another website, to call out others.
I'd recommend anywhere else, if you don't want to be bullied and made to feel uncomfortable.
Me and my parents absolutely loved staying at this property! The best part about our stay was how lovely the host was. What a lovely lady! And the breakfast was amazing!! Her three dogs were also a highlight!
Recently stayed with the family, Sarah couldn't do enough for us, lovely breakfast, nice clean rooms, fresh towels daily, local shops nearby, and a short (10min) stroll to both lusty glaze & tolcarne beach, overall faultless, thank you Sarah.
We stayed from 16th to 22nd of July 2017. We did not like the state of the room; once we arrived, the room wasn't even ready, even though we arrived nearly two hours after the initial booking time of 12pm. The room itself was cramped, and was actually an annex. The owner said "I did not give you the room upstairs because of how tall your husband is" - how did she know this beforehand, she had never seen my husband before, which seemed very odd. The wifi did not work for five consecutive days and whenever you complained to the owner about it, she got angry. The air freshner in the wardrobe was sickly sweet and probably an attempt to muster the mouldy and damp smell of the annex. The parking was atrocious so we ended up parking across the street. Breakfast was cooked carelessly, and the bread on offer was out of date and mouldy. The slippers that the owner offered on her website were never given to us. Overall, we are not happy with the room.
Although it was cleaned, I found a lot of dog hair's on the bed, the toilet paper was the cheapest, there was no information they got a dogs maybe I'm got allergy to them. I didn't recommend this hotel for this price.
