My daugther and I had a lovely over night stay. The staff were super friendly, the space was lovely a clean and we had everything we would need. The little kitchen with tea coffee and breakfast was just perfect also. We will be back next time we pop into Newcastle without a doubt!
We went to the Burwood Inn solely on price and reviews.
It was worth the effort.
The staff were real helpful, the food was excellent and we'll definitely stay again.
Thank you
Very clean room and bathroom facilities. Comfortable king sized bed. Restaurant serves great meals. Staff are very friendly. One star deducted for telling me the hotel would be quiet soon after 10pm. (It was close to midnight, but it was a Friday night).
Great location close to beach, cafes, shops. Staff were great! Pub is awesome. Beautiful steaks, cooked perfectly. Love this place, love the area too.

All seemed fine until I sat on the bed...sank like a banana and I found myself in what can only be described as a hammock style shape all night. Very uncomfortable hubby side of the bed was ok but something was broken underneath mattress.
I've stayed numerous times here and loved each time. Perfect for me regarding walking and beach and family home.
A good help yourself breakfast in the kitchen. Including a fridge that you can use for your own stuff. A bar just downstairs.Good bed.Plenty of towels and clean bathrooms.
Didn't notice any night noise from downstairs.
The hotel is nice and clean. Upstairs was a little noisier than a few of the other pubs I have stayed in in Newcastle. The food downstairs was nice. Was also a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.
The staff were amazing and facilities were great very well renovated in an old hotel. Very close to Lingard Private hospital which is where I was heading
