This is a gem in a historic though tired area … a really fantastic find. It is authentic ..it appears grand though very lived in. Staying in the delux rooms meant we were in the main house ..stunning and original furniture. I stayed in the annexe last year (standard) which was more basic but one still had use of the grander house for meals

The hotel was great, Antonio the maître and all his staff were excellent and nothing was an issue to make us feel welcomed and to have a wonderful stay, train stations were about a 15 minute walk, great location to catch a train to Pompeii, Sorrento or Naples, the Herculenium is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel, great stay

Our room (suite) was delightful with 2nd room. This grand old, slightly bedraggled, historic villa is what it is… a cherished experience to stay in. The 25-foot ceilings with art in the medallion center, the massive furniture, the comfy bed, the modern bathroom — this capped off 10 days in Italy with a better sense of 18th century history. And we enjoyed the pool too!

The Hotel is of a grand design,, set in fabulous grounds . The restaurant which overlooked the lovely gardens is also used for breakfast.

Fabulous staff, and a massive baronial room with the biggest shower I’ve ever seen. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of options and good coffee The pool and bar were a welcome surprise. It’s an old building and so don’t expect it to be anything but that. The area is not central to Naples but there are nice restaurants and cafes and is great for visiting Herculaneum. Didn’t use the parking but there was ample secure space and 20 min walk to the train station.

The nicest people we met in Italy!

The staff was so helpful in telling us what we should see and where. Very nice people, fluent in English. Wanted to know what we saw that day when we got back. O would HIGHLY recommend and I’m very picky about hotels!

Charming villa in Ercolano

It was a charming villa, but our room could use some updated amenities. The beds were not very comfortable. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was nice and relaxing away from the bustle of the city.

This hotel is so charming and its vast outdoor property was gorgeous. We will certainly come back to spend more time there and explore all its amenities. Simply breathtaking and close to the Herculaneum. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.

The room was great. The beds are a little firm but much more preferable than too soft for us. There are 2 heavy gates to access the property plus the locked door to the lobby then finally our room so safety was never a concern. Our host communicated quickly after I had posed several questions and was even timely in her response when I had a question after checkout. The AC worked great which seems to be a luxury in Italy (fair to poor AC in Rome and Pisa). My daughter loved the large balcony to have offer and people watch. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the swimming pool, great air conditioning in the room, the breakfast was particularly delicious! Special mention of the barman at the pool, he was so friendly, funny and helpful! Great to be able to get food /dinner at child friendly times, with having a young child, and wanting to eat at 5/6 pm. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel itself is lovely. The staff were very welcoming, the room was great and the restaurant was really nice too. It has lovely gardens to sit out in and enjoy a bit of sunshine. It's about 15 min walk to the train station and harbour where there are a few nice little restaurants too. It's just unfortunate the area around it isn't as nice but that's nothing to do with the hotel itself.
