We had a wonderful time when we stayed here. We booked the two room family suite which was spacious and comfortable, perfect for our family of four, and made us all feel right at home. We loved the gardens, beach and pool, perfect for relaxing in the sun. The service throughout the hotel was fantastic and made our stay truly stress-free. The only letdown was the restaurant reservation system. Twice, our reservations couldn't be found when we arrived, which led to some frustrating moments and waiting around—especially tough when traveling with hungry teenagers! Thankfully, the restaurant staff did their best to sort things out and still made us feel welcome. Aside from that minor issue, our family had a fantastic time at Al-Bustan and would happily stay there again.

Beatiful place, great stay

Overall a great experience. The grounds of the hotel are amazing, including the garden, the pools and the spa. The beach is ok and the rooms are a bit outdated. The food is amazing and the service fantastic. Great place for families, they even have a "mini Waterpark" for the little ones.

The best hotel I stayed at in Oman. Attentive staff (thank you for the upgrade!), incredible breakfast buffet, great gym & other amenities. Mountain view from the room terrace was very beautiful. Look forward to coming back for a longer stay.

Very nice hotel. Structure is gigantic hence difficult to take in all at once. Good service but with a “local” flavour. The beach was below my expectation but the pool and garden area is really impressive

Iconic building, beautiful garden, amazing pool & beach. Loveliest staff ever. Smells heavenly! The attention to the details makes all the difference. The sea view room really has a breathtaking view. Breakfast has a huge choice. Room are cleaned several time a day and they provide fresh fruit and a night setting. This was our second time there and it never disappoints. Thank you Ritz!

The hotel itself is incredible, the lobby is amazing and the amenities are brilliant. We were lucky enough to get upgraded at check in so our room was perfect as we had instant access to the pool. The staff was brilliant as well and it’s a brilliant place to stay if you plan on relaxing at the beach and just swimming. However, there’s nothing around the area in the hotel. You can’t walk anywhere as the hotel is in a secluded place and trying to get a taxi is difficult especially during the evening. If you’re not a fan of the food in the restaurants at the hotel, you’re only option is to order food in.

We were upgraded to a fabulous 2 bed suite. The staff are amazing, so helpful. The restaurants produce high quality food. We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it is consistently a high quality experience. The downsides are low water pressure which meant showering takes a long time and the condition of the beach, lots of plastic debris and there was an algae bloom during our trip, completely out of anyone’s control of course, but the beach should be cleaned daily. The hotel should focus more on reducing the use of single use plastic water bottles, they use 1000’s a day and there are better, more cost effective options. . Oman is expensive to visit so travellers should be aware of the costs involved when planning their trip. We used to live here so were prepared.
