The room was dirty on check in. There were no beddings and the duvet/bedsheets and pillows were stained. It was very difficult to reach the manager on site to resolve this issue. The staff were also rude and not helpful. The breakfast was average compared to other 5 star hotels. I honestly would not recommend this facility.

At first we was write on the comments that we need 14th floor and smoking room but when we checked in they gave us 9th floor and I asked the receptionist it is a smoking room she told me no if you want a smoking room we will give you room on 8th floor and we accept that but what I want to say they didn’t read our comment, the room was not totally clean and our luggage take along time to deliver we call them several time to bring our luggage , the WIFI signal was vey poor , when we go to the swimming pool there is no staff to help or give us a towel you should look for it by your self , almost all the staff was had a bad behavior they not seem nice accept Rehab , room service was very good but dine in restaurant one day they didn’t take our order and it took a long time when we called them they told us we didn’t accept the order we forgot it and we will make you order now , I try the massage is very good and the therapist Salwa was very nice and she know every stressed area . Last note there was a wedding in the hotel and all the wedding guests take our parking we don’t have any place near to elevator we should have the priority At last this is the first and last time I will be on Solymar hotel and beach club If you looking for best hotel try Onyx by Rotana or Address hotel

Everything was great, just a few minor things. Coffee cup cracked, fridge wasnt cold, limited hot water in shower. Room and employees were great, Murphys bar was very good, and the buffet was huge. Overall, a very good place to stay.

The parking garage sucks, I had to walk all the way back down with our luggage because there was no access to the hotel from the parking garage. The towels had hairs on them so I had to get them changed. The hallways were a little dark and creepy.

I spent top dollar for the presidential suite only to get there and deal with malfunctioning equipment. The tvs cannot link to the WiFi or your phone, you cannot hear the doorbell from the bedroom, the jacuzzi jets did not work nor did the shower head on it…the water did not get warm enough, the curtains did not open and close with the remote and you couldn’t open them by hand. The minbar was completely empty and the kitchenette area was pointless…no full sized fridge. There weren’t enough power outlets near the bed, the master toilet remote did not work and room service constantly forgot about our orders. I had to call maintenance at least 3 times that first night…if you are considering anything above a standard room, it is not worth your money. You will be disappointed.

The hotel was perfect and the staff was super friendly and the room was clean. The price of the hotel was great. The 2 things that I didn’t like are: 1. My room was with a balcony. But there were no chairs at the balcony, so the balcony was useless. 2.I ordered a coffee from Starbucks and when the driver arrived they didn’t allow him to bring it to my room. I called the reception and I told them that the order is already paid, if the driver is not allowed to come upstairs please send the coffee with any of the hotel staff. They answered (it is even not allowed to send the coffee with the hotel staff and you have to come yourself downstairs to take your coffee) !!! That was weird!! At the check out I told the hotel’s manager about what happened and he told me that it’s not allowed by the ministry of tourism. That was not true because I stayed at many hotels in Bahrain and all of them were allowing the food to be delivered to the rooms.

No signs and no elevators acess in the first 3 floors. I was carrying my luggage everywhere from floor to floor trying to access the lobby. Then I met one of the staff and he walked with me. I thought he is taking me to the elevator but took us to the stairs. He did not offer to carry the luggage. I had to carry all the stairz until i found myself on the street. He said go from the main gate! Check in was quick. I got into the suite. It was clean. Half carpet and half ceramic. But no bath robe, no towels, no slippers, no iron, no iron board and the phone was not working! Went down again and asked for service. It was quick. The in room dining was slow, but good quality (i tried the chicken wrap only). Sorry, I am not going there again. I also informed the manager about everything.

we came for anniversary celebration and we asked for simple arrangement but nothing has been.. the room view was terrible we asked to change the room one of the reception staff was rude and she said we have to pay extra charge we refused, then other lady called as back and she upgrade us. moreover, beach access is not free for Hotel.com reservations !

The hotel was adequate for our means but the housekeeping was a little bit annoying. Everyday I had to phone down and ask for additional towels as they took two away and replaced them with just one.

Amazing, clean, and comfy

This was my second stay at this hotel, it was amazing and clean. Nice view nice bed and the space of the junior suite was too big.
