Hatten ein schönes sehr zentrales Appartement. War ein echt entspannter Urlaub. Schöne Strände,super Restaurants und Cocktailbars sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Unterbringung in einem nicht gebuchten Zimmer

Der Vermieter brauchte die Zimmer in Largo S.Giovanni für andere Gäste, denn er lagerte uns kurzerhand und ungefragt in eine Unterkunft aus, die ca 80m entfernt in einem eiskalten dunklen Kellergewölbe lag, das uns zwang, selbst an warmen sonnigen Maitagen zu heizen und das Licht einzuschalten. Das Doppelbett und das winzige fensterlose Bad war über eine schmale steile Treppe zu erreichen und genau so dunkel und unfreundlich. Das Zimmer kam nicht in der Beschreibung und keinem der Fotos vor und wir hätten es auch niemals gebucht. Zudem wurde uns das zweite Bett, das im Gesamtpreis enthalten sein müsste, mit 15€ täglich zusätzlich verrechnet, was wir letztendlich nicht bezahlt haben. (Gebucht war ein Doppelzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten). Einmal gab es kein Frühstück für uns, weil zu viele Gäste da waren. Trotzdem endete der Aufenthalt in freundlichem, versöhnlichen Ton. Vielleicht sind die anderen Wohneinheiten von Carpe Deum trotzdem zu empfehlen, diese jedenfalls nicht. Insgesamt: Unprofessionell geführtes B&B, von dem ich abraten würde.

Chambre neuve agréablement décorée mais douche anormalement petite. Éviter la chambre du numéro 18, très bruyante ( au rdc, face à un bar à vin) . Petit déjeuner indigent servi par les sympathiques propriétaires.

Character B & B in old town close to beach.

Hosts Mara and Cesare are lovely - welcoming, helpful and will go out of their way to help you. Our apartment was large, v. clean and tastefully furnished. As I expected, being in an ancient town with narrow streets, noise was an issue. I didnt expect it to be an issue so late into the night though! The locals throughout the region were friendly, many didn't speak English but I enjoyed trying out my basic Italian. The Gelato at The Napoli Bar is a must. They have lots of flavours. A Lemon Granita is to die for and oh so refreshing if you find yourself at a bar that serves them. We travelled by local train and bus to sightsee and to transfer from the airport. This was cost effective and easy to do with transport running to time. (Always visit the Information Desk for maps etc before you leave the airport.) I plan to re visit the region one day and would happily stay at Carpe Diem again.

Soggiorno perfetto en un posto acoglievoglie e molto bene localizato. Mara è stata molto gentile e carina. La decorazione dell'apartamento è de molto buon gusto e curata, e lo apartamento è completamentamente arredato. Viccino al centro, alla spiaggia e buona colazione. Torneró volentiere.

Avkopplande B&B i den gamla staden

Som första svenska gästerna kan vi varmt rekommendera ett besök. På ankomstdagen blev vi uppmötta vid Cala Portavecchia (stranden). B&B ligger väldigt nära stranden! Det finns ingen reception i denna B&B-lägenhet så man har enbart kontakt med värdparet vid ankomst/ utcheckning, övrig tid får man ringa eller SMS dem. Betalning sker vid incheckning, enbart i kontanter! Bokade "Comfort Apartment w/ Terrace" för 3 pers, men vid ankomst blev det något fel med priset. Våra papper visade 3 pers så de gav oss våra nätter för priset av 2 & bäddade en extrasäng Lägenheten var väldigt mysig, ljus, ren och modern, nyrenoverat. IKEA-inredning. På entréplan finns dusch/wc, ett kök med kylskåp/gasspis/ugn. Matplats, TV, soffa/ihopfällbar extrasäng, fjärrstyrd AC. Övervån. finns dubbelsäng, TV & fjärrstyrd AC & extrasäng. Stor uteplats med plats för 4 personer på taket. OBS! att trappstegen i hela lägenheten är mycket höga. Wi-Fi är fritt i hela lägenheten,bra uppkoppling! Italiensk frukost, väldigt sparsam. Bestod av egenbakat bröd, småkakor och en stor fruktskål med närodlad frukt. Man får således stå för frukostinköpet själv, snabbköp finns en kort promenad bort. Vid svensk lunchtid är köket uppskattat, då alla restauranger är stängda under siestan (öppnar 19:00) Värdparet var strålande, önskar dem all lycka till. De erbjöd sig uthyrning av cyklar, arrangemang av båtturer & sevärdheter. Vi har varit jättenöjda med vår vistelse! Rekommenderas varmt till ett ungt par utan barn
