The staff were kind and so hopeful and gave amazing recommendations for dining. There is an enchanting bakery only a few steps from the Posthoorn. It was a quiet and cozy reprieve from city adventuring.

A wonderful stay - we stayed in the family suite which was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was good and made to order. Staff very helpful and friendly, including to the children. Would highly recommend.

Great little village just north of Amsterdam. Plenty of buses to take us into Amsterdam and elsewhere. Comfortable hotel . Breakfast a bit pricey but otherwise I would recommend it.

Very attractive room, in a lovely reconditioned old building. Easy and fast public transport options into Amsterdam and lovely Edam are nearby. The area around Suitehotel Posthoorn is very scenic and walkable, with many restaurants and bars.

Excellent stay! Room was very comfortable and clean, great SPA facilities and a very good breakfast. We had a dinner reservation at the restaurant that wowed us on arrival but left very disappointed after the meal. Menu was disappointing and overpriced. Need to hire a new chef and less more attentive staff.

Set in a quiet village centre; this hotel was just lovely. A warm welcome from the host, who explained everything about the room and gave me pointers to all the restaurants/bars nearby. Comfy bed, lovely shower and bath, Nespresso machine, smart TV which also had BBC 1/2/News for us travelling from the UK. I travelled to the country by train and there is an excellent bus service from Amsterdam to Monnickendam; where it's about a 10 minutes walk to the hotel. No need for cash as they take contactless/apple pay/gpay and the Amsterdam Regional Ticket which covers the buses,trams,metro,and local rail services. The continental breakfast was good. For me, this was the perfect, affordable and peaceful hotel away from the hustle, bustle, prices and chaos of Amsterdam City Centre I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful, very beautiful town and good location to visit nearby places of interest. The breakfast is not up to a 4-star hotel, we have been waiting half an hour for breakfast since there is only one person to serve everyone, (it is not self-service) paper napkins like the ones you get in a döner kebab, and having a very good coffee machine they don't even know how to make a good cappuccino. poor breakfast There was never anyone at the reception, little staff.
