Amazing location, amazing staff! The hotel has 5 floors, each with a suite and a hotel style room. The top floor has a terrace with views of the city. We walked everywhere during our stay. The front desk staff was fantastic, as was the restaurant. Thank you so much for a great first trip to Milano!

Wonderful boutique hotel close to everything, duomo, ca Stella, navigli etc. wonderful, warm and friendly staff - small hotel so you are greeted by name coming and going. Our only negative is the a/c. We were there in August and our room was on the top floor it was almost unbearably hot and the A/c just did not have enough power. The room really needs a ceiling fan or some type of fan in the summer. Otherwise we loved the hotel and would return but not on the 5th floor! There is also a lovely roof top terrazzo for drinks and / or dinner . Special thanks to Sam for a great stay!

Great location nice ambience

We had 2 days in Milan before we flew back to Australia so wanted to have good proximity to key Milan highlights and location of SMS is ideal. It is also in a very quiet local lane so we didn’t hear a single bit of traffic noise. We dined one night at the rooftop bar/restaurant and I highly recommend this for ambience and views although the service can be a little slow but the waiters are very lovely. The room was perfectly ok and had everything we needed.

Stunning, boutique hotel in great location

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in great hands. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable of the area. They made great recommendations on restaurants and shopping. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the intimacy of the small hotel (only ten rooms total) and loved the location.

Good location in nice area. Average finish of hotel. At checkout our bill included a small 4 EUR incorrect charge. Rather than taking our word for it someone was sent to room to confirm nothing has been taken from mini bar which I found a dissapointing lack of trust for such a small amount.

The bed was short so even my feet hung off the end. Even worse for my husband. The covers did not reach our shoulders, but if you are up to 5 feet tall you will be fine. The bed and pillows were comfortable otherwise. The shower was very nice, large with a lovely glass enclosure. We only have hotel breakfasts in countries where we do not have the option of purchasing a room without breakfast. That has always been the case in Italy, but perhaps not through hotels.com. Shame on me that I did not verify at the front desk at check in. But they reception failed to quote the breakfast, so we did take breakfast in the hotel. The eggs were overcooked, the cold selection was poor, the coffee was terrible, which never happens in Italy, and the bread was stale. Then at check out I had the pleasure to find out that we were to be charged 20 euros each. Had the breakfast been a good one I would have chalked it up to my mistake, but the poor quality made it offensive. I complained, but reception shrugged it off without apology for the poor food.

Une adresse que je ne veux pas partager

Un petit hôtel en plein centre de Milan. La chambre est très propre avec la décoration soignée. Salle de bain n'est pas grande mais avec tout ce qu'il faut, super moderne. Il y a aussi un rooftop qui m'avait permis de pouvoir fumer sans descendre dans la rue. Même étant un tout petit hôtel(10 chambres seulement), il y a aussi une concierge clés d'or !! Et la patronne adorable. J'avais cherché pendant des semaines un hôtel à Milan parmi les plus grands hôtels, finalement, j'avais bien fait de choisir cet hôtel.

Italian Charm

Lovely hotel if you are looking for old antique charm as well as modern comfort. The rooms have no aspect, looking into a rather gloomy light well. The suites overlook the street. My only complaint was that the mirror light in the the shower room was not working and they were not able to fix it while I was there during a four night stay. They really should carry spares for such problems in what is not an inexpensive hotel.

Very nice boutique hotel........

This is a very cute and small boutique hotel. The front staff is very pleasant and helpful. Location is great. The rooms are very nice we had two full bathrooms in our suite. The only negatives are for price we paid for the room the room was a little lacking. Wire from the TV were hanging down looking very sloppy some of the wooding flooring pieces would pop up. Over all very nice, but just in need of a little attention at this price point.
