It was run down, with unmotivated staff. While checking in with my daughter I got to witness a police officer coming into the hotel to check on someone. Hotel beds felt like pull-out sofas.
We stayed here once before a while back and decided to give it another chance. Nope. I'll start with the positives: The front desk staff was kind, the room was spacious, and the pool temperature was warm. Negatives: Our room only locked from the inside, the bed was like a piece of cardboard, the pool area was a mess and smelled of mildew SO BADLY that we had to open windows to enjoy it at all, the pool is literally crumbling and has cement chunks popping off the bottom, many lights not working in the pool area, the hot tub was broken... the place is in such bad shape with broken ceiling tiles and such... The parking lot had no lighting at all and there were lights in hallways flickering. It was very post-apocalyptic... We did not end up staying the night -- we just packed up and went home. I went to get a couple towels for the pool and mentioned to the front desk staff that we would be checking out and mentioned the door not locking and asked if she would want me to close the windows in the pool area when we were done there. She said yes and offered to move us to a different room. I said no, thank you, and she said she would call for a manager to come to process a refund. The manager that came was really snarky and mean to her when investigating the non-locking door. I was told that the refund will take 7 to 10 days. I also burned up a reward night on this, and I'm hoping to get it back. The total fee was over $130... Very not worth it.
We were not comfortable about safety during our stay. Entrance to hotel was very narrow. Check in gal was helpful & cheerful. It was 84 degrees when we walked into our room & we couldn’t get it to turn down to a lower temp. She came right down & got that fixed for us. While doing so, she had to move curtains and found a ball, phone charger, and I don’t remember what else. Even she remarked that she would need to talk with housekeeping since they obviously weren’t doing their job. That made us also wonder about the cleanliness off the room during a pandemic. Other hotels we have stayed at during this pandemic all smelled super clean where this did not. We went out for supper & it was dark when we got back. Pulled in and the only cars in the parking lot were all lower grade, older vehicles. We felt like we were parking in a low income housing project. I would definitely NOT have stayed here if traveling alone! There was one car with a couple of men in it just sitting there. When in our room you could see light all the way around it on 3 sides. Neither of us slept well as we were so nervous about being there.
Pulling up to the building I realized I made a mistake. There were trash bags in the doorway of one of the doorways, was still there when we left the next day. We had 2 rooms, one of the rooms were missing the decorative curtains and the closet doors. The wall pictures were in the closet. The second room the curtains were missing hooks so the black out drapes would not close all the way. The carpet was stained and the lamps had dust and grime on them. The pool was warm, but very cloudy and the cement on the bottom was crumbling. My son even stepped on an earring at the bottom of the pool and stuck in his foot. The sauna was very dirty under the benches and the wood on the benches were rotting. Overall not a good stay and definitely will be choosing somewhere else next time. We come to this area a few times a year for an overnight getaway to go to the arcade and bowling alley next door, but will not be returning here.
We booked two nights, It wasn’t cleaned properly for our stay, the pull out couch had food residue in it and on the bed portion. The TVs didn’t work in either room. We had an ant infestation in the bathroom. We couldn’t use our PlayStation with their internet.
All told the staff was quick to help in every instance and offered a discount after we had the ant issue. But I was ready to leave the night before checkout. My kids liked the pool to swim but that was falling apart with missing tiles and pool stone liner missing leaving jagged pebbles in the pool
I enjoyed my stay at Days Inn. Highly recommend it. Clean, staff was friendly, and affordable. I think it looks a bit outdated but definitely a good place to stay.

Room was nice people working were excellent but the appearance from outside needs some working on and I would suggest a elevator bc no one likes dragging luggage up stairs but overall was nice
Carpet in the halls and stairwell were dirty. Our first room the toilet and phone didn’t work and we had no remote for TV. They moved us to another room and the toilet overflowed. The refrigerator didn’t fit in the undercounted space and it sat halfway in the aisle so you had to walk around it. Very odd.

Computer was down upon check in, but they accommodated us in opening our room.
In the morning we were unable to shower due to a water leak that required all the entire system to be shut off.

Lastly price went up 20$ at check in??? DONT NOT STAY HERE PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!

To be honest I was concerned about the appearance when we found our hotel. I thought I was lost. It is very dated. Staff was nice but this place needs some love. I thought I was at the back of the hotel when I was actually at the entrance. Looks like at one point this was a great hotel. Now it needs improvement.
room was missing TV. Checked in on a Friday and were out of towels for the pool, unable to get us any was told already gave out 20 have no more to give out-
Bed Bugs. Unfortunately, the staff is very nice, but the room was not so good. Bugs were in the pillows and all over the bed. We will not stay there ever again.

The first thing I noticed when I arrived is that there are no visible lines in the parking lot indicating where to park. The guy checking me in was new and while it's understandable for him to make mistakes, I never expected him to cause my reservation to disappear after the first day... I was booked for three nights, so imagine my surprise when I was sitting in my room on the second day and some random person walks in - they had given my room to someone else?? Evidently they lost my reservation. Additionally, on the second night, my friend and I went swimming in their pool and relaxed in their hot tub... and add further insult to injury my friend wound up with pinkeye the next day. I definitely would not recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly enough but the general feel of the place is not so good.
Dirty, stained sheets, towels and blankets. Very outdated. Pool was in poor condition. Front desk only had 2 towels. There was only 1 group of 12 rooms booked at the hotel. So it wasn’t like they were busy and couldn’t keep up with the laundry. Front desk attendant laid on the couch in the lobby all night. Went into the area where the continental breakfast would be the night prior to look around and the yogurt in the refrigerator was due to expire that day. Hallways were dirty, there was a turd in the hallway when we got there that was never cleaned up. A half of 2 liter of pop was left in the refrigerator. One of our rooms the refrigerator stopped working in the middle of the night.
My stay was okay. I was there for 4 nights and 3 of those 4, I had to reprogram my room card. One night, even the reprogramming of the card didn’t work, so the person on the night shift had to use his master key to let me in, and told me he would inform the manager to reprogram the door lock. The next night my card failed to open the door. So it was an inconvenience to just get back in my room. The rooms toilet also needed some maintenance as the tank was constantly filling.
The room was FILTHY with cob webs hanging in the corners 2 feet down, the floors were filthy and former guests left bags of garbage beside the chair and they were still there when we got checked in. A dirty blue cloth was left in the bathroom, it might have been underwear, but it did not belong in our room. The parking lot handicapped area was loosely covered with sand. I got out of my car and slipped and when I left to get our meal and returned, I slipped so bad I FELL AND HIT MY HEAD on the asphalt in the parking lot. (I was told a water main broke weeks ago and no one cleaned up the sand from the handicapped area.) And that brings me to the 3rd issue. I requested a handicapped room. I called and requested a handicapped room. We did not get it. The breakfast area is on the second floor with no handicapped access. So much for breakfast. As it was, we requested a handicapped room when I called, none was provided. We couldn't shower, no rails in bathroom. We called the clerk, nothing was done. We asked to be moved, nothing was done.
