There was no beach view from the hotel. At least not from our room. We had no view at all really. This was an OK place to stay. It was clean and did offer breakfast daily. The breakfast was the same every single day; omelet with ham and sandwhich cheese, yogurt, toast. Bacon was offered one day, basically barely cooked. The room is big. The sheets are thin and cheap and come off easily because they dont really fit the mattress. We did sleep well. I did not like that we had absolutely nothing as far as a view because its like a motel and if your curtains are open people can see in. So we were closed in during the 4 days. There are a lot of rules you have to sign

I would have given a 4 rating if the no visitor policy was disclosed on Expedia. To leave out something so important, and the associated per person penalty, is misleading. Pros: - friendly staff, fast service - large room, clean and well maintained, included fridge and microwave -great location, lots of dining and shopping and only a block from the beach Cons - no visitors allowed, per visitor penalty if you violate this rule. That means you can't even have a person accompany you to your room to change between the beach and dinner. This policy was not disclosed anywhere on Expedia and would definitely have affected my decision to book a nonrefundable room. - It literally took over 4.5 minutes for the water to heat up with both the sink and shower water running. - Luggage will not be held before the 3 pm check in or after the 11 am check out time. There is a LuggageHero drop off a block away. - You can only check in between 3 pm and 11 pm. The Expedia ad says safe at the front desk, it does no good if the front desk is not manned. - Some noise from other rooms and street noise.

Although the desk is only open on the evenings, the service is excellent. The rooms are big with a mini kitchen. Theres plenty of restaurants that are walkable. Beds were very comfortable.

Excellent location. Exceptionally friendly staff. And Gigi the resident cat is adorable. The only reason I didn’t give it 10/10 is the hot and cold water control for the shower was reversed. Didn’t realize that until day 2 after 2 cold showers, but it was hot out anyway.

Very nice place close to Muscle Beach and Coconuts tiki bar. Lots of food, restaurant choices around. Clean and spacious. Blass was there at 11 to welcome us and he provided a lot of much needed city information on the first day. Not too far not too close to main attractions. We enjoyed our stay.
