My apartment is located in the center of the small fraction of Arzello, in the municipality of Melazzo (AL), in the countryside, in a place full of peace and relaxation, 6 km from the famous spa town of Acqui Terme (AL) and 40 minutes from the Ligurian Riviera.
Ours is a famous area, apart from the Roman remains, for fine wines and good food.
The accommodation is located on the first floor of a house of 1900, now fully renovated and is structured on two levels: first floor entrance, living room with kitchenette, bathroom with shower, sofa bed for 2 guests and a cot for children with banks; in the attic, in stone and with an exposed wooden roof, a bedroom, a cot for children up to 3 years and a bathroom with bathtub.
The building faces the front, the main square and the green area while, on the back, on a courtyard.
Less than 300 m runs through the river Erro.
Activities in the area are numerous, from hiking through the hills, to bike rides, horse riding, swimming in the nearby Melazzo, Acqui and Cartosio pools and various sports at Acqui Sports Centers, including Golf, and Melazzo.
At Acqui, you can relax in the magnificent Lake of the Springs, a spa complex, or visit the Archaeological Museum and the Roman remains. Famous is The Boiling Water where it flows to 75 ^ C.
My accommodation is suitable for families with children, with the possibility of adding cot and / or cot, and with pets; Couples, business travelers and anyone who wants peace and relaxation.
Every week it is possible to take part in themed excursions, visiting the most characteristic places of our areas, from nature trails, the Castle, the Oratory of San Pietro martyr, the baroque parish church of S. Bartolomeo, the Church of the Annunciation and the park of Villa Scati, all in Melazzo. On the opposite bank of the Erro stream, not far from the hamlet of Arzello, is the Romanesque church of S. Secondo and the Castle of Moncrescente called "Tinazza".
Added to this are the beauties of the spa town of Acqui Terme: La Bollente, the Roman Aqueduct, the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption, the Garden of Villa Ottolenghi, the Fontanino dell'Acqua Marcia, the Archaeological Museum inside the Castle, The SPA of Lago delle Sorgenti and the ancient Basilica of San Pietro.
Still the villages of the Erro Valley, to continue beyond Melazzo, such as the municipality of Ponzone, considered the second most beautiful view of Italy, the village of Cavatore dominating all of Acqui, Cartosio with its quadrangular tower of origin Saracen of the tenth century and all the beautiful beauties of the Bormida Valley of Spigno and the Bassa Valle Bormida.
For several years this has been my little reign and now I would be very happy to share it with anyone who loves to discover the beauty of our places.
