Very cute place, a must stay.

Wonderful place to stay! Very happy with this choice of place to stay. Close to everything! Very quiet even though it’s close to a main road. Would definitely stay again! Please note you must carry your bags up stairs(we knew this from notes/description) and the bathroom may be a challenge for taller people over 6’2” due to the low ceiling.

Perfect place to explore Matera

Perfect location. Modern standard but still close to the Sassi streets. Easy free parking on the street not far away. Miriam is a great host and you will be taken care of. Highly recommended 👍

Posizione strategica

La struttura si trova in ottima posizione vicinissima alla piazza principale da dove partono i tour guidati. Nei paraggi diversi parcheggi gratuiti ed a pagamento. Ottima soluzione per visitare Matera. Pulizia, cordialità e disponibilità!

Very clean and modern room. It is close to the central station and to the old city. The breakfast was excellent, wide choice of sweet and salted products. Miriam was helpful, we communicated mainly through online translation, but it worked well.

La struttura è deliziosa, curata nei minimi particolari e pulitissima. A due passi da Piazza Vittorio Veneto. La colazione da WOW! Il proprietario Antonio carinissimo e gentilissimo. Il soggiorno al Livingston è stato davvero bello.

Almost everything was excellent......except for the fact that it was advertised as providing free parking, and it didn’t. I had to pay for overnight parking in a public garage.....which cost almost $30 for the night. Also, Livingston’s is really a B and B, not a hotel, and, as such, was difficult to find because, even though it’s on the Main Street in Matera, there was only a small sign attached to the building to identify it. I have found that situation in several smaller Hotels.com properties, so I advise Hotels.com to ask the proprietors for more detailed info on how to arrive at their properties. It may be that the customer should be advised to call the property before appearing, in order to get more specific information.

Ideal location walking distance to train station. The property was immaculate and the owners Miriam and Antonio made us very welcome. Easy access to to old town just a block away and many dining options locally. Great breakfast each morning by Miriam to start our day. Local on-street parking available for a fee (by meters) on surrounding streets if you have a car rental. We had the London Room with a nice sun terrace on the rear of the building. We would definitely stay at the Livingstone on a future Matera trip
