Great stay! The location is great if you want to go into old town Matera. Only a few minutes walk. The room was clean, updated and good shower. AC was strong as well.

The host was amazing during our stay from checkin, to custom breakfast options, to cleanliness and everything in between. We were so impressed with the service at the B&B. The property was so close to the main Matera lookouts and tourist sites. The restaurants nearby were all very delicious too. Everything was within walking distance and it was a great stay for us. 10/10 would stay here again and recommend all our friends to stay here too! Amazing!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

A fabulous B&B with everything you needed. It was hot whilst here and the aircon worked fantastic for the hot nights. The room was spotlessly clean with a good fridge for cold drinks. Its very close to the old town and we could park the car in the next street for the whole three days. Mariella was very sweet and checked to make sure we were OK every day. We opted for no breakfast but there are good places within walking distance for coffee, paninis, etc. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

We enjoyed this property very much ! It was unique, very clean and all the comfort that you need ! Mariella was very attentive to all our needs . Free parking in the ad refers to street parking - if available. We circled the block 5 times and got lucky with a spot within 30 feet of the entrance. Mirror in our room was bizarre and useless unless you are under 4 ft. Room has a barrel ceiling and the bathroom was built into one corner, so about 16” was on the wall and the rest on the angled ceiling. Only place I’ve been where looking into the mirror showed the top of my head. Room was otherwise clean, quiet and spacious and location within 10 minute to main sites. Decent breakfast.

Nice and convenient place to enjoy Matera within a walking distance. The down side, thankfully we did speak a little bit of Italian because it seems the host did not speak English and all the communication and text messages had to be in Italian.
