Twisted Cedars Ranch: Rest, Restore, Relax in mountain style.
If you're looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views of the mountains this is the place to be. Unwind in a private guest house located on ten acres with beautiful views of the La Plata Mountains, trees and wildlife. There is a large living room with a wood burning stove, a full kitchen and a quaint pub table for two which overlooks the La Plata Mountains. An additional pullout futon is available for sleeping. TV, WiFi, movies, books and games are also available. The bedroom has a queen size bed and private bathroom. Please note: The outside door pictured to the left of the main door of the guest house is a private door to a garage, it is not a second guest house and not accessible to guests. During the summer months the porch has two comfy chairs to sit on to watch humming birds, with great views of the mountains. Mesa Verde National Park is a little over 3 miles away. Phil’s World, a mountain bike paradise is 5 miles away. The city of Cortez is 13 miles away, the city of Mancos is 11 miles away and the city of Durango is 39 miles away. **4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended during winter months **

The house is located in a beautiful are with a great view.
We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. The location is beautiful and perfect for visiting Mesa Verde. The hosts are welcoming and attentive, while providing privacy. We highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations fit our needs perfectly. We were in Colorado for a family reunion at Echo Basin so the location was close enough that it was easy to get to, but far enough away to escape from the chaos of my extended family. It made my morning to have coffee with the hummingbirds. We appreciate Heather and Chad sharing their property with us!

Excellent hosts!! Wonderful location near Mesa Verde, wonderful night sky!! Highly recommend!!
What a wonderful location- not far from Mesa Verde NP but still miles away from hustle and bustle. It is such a beautiful peaceful place. We loved seeing the mountains, the stars and the birds out the windows and on the porch. The cabin itself had everything we could need and was built and decorated with great attention to detail
Perfect stay for us to visit Mesa Verde, it was under 10 minutes to the Park Entrance. Great unobstructed view of the Silverton mountains to the East from the Kitchen windows.
Twisted Cedars Ranch is just a darling place. It is beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area. The owners are friendly and they checked to see that we had everything that we needed.
This views from this property were amazing! The property felt like an actual guest house, some just do not. The place was well done, very clean and had everything we needed. The homemade bread was a lovely touch and it was amazing! The owners were wonderful. Would definitely stay again and recommend!
The location to the entrance of Mesa Verde NP couldn’t be closer and the home is a great place to stay. Wonderful views and if lucky enough to be there during a thunderstorm it’s Colorado at its finest.
Heather does a wonderful job and makes you feel special and welcome.
Definitely recommend
This is a beautiful and very quiet place out in the country! Loved the amenities like the oven, Keurig, and wood-burning stove. Clean, cozy and perfect getaway about 45 minutes from Mesa Verde. Chad and Heather were great hosts, they made the check-in and checkout processes easy and clear. Highly recommended!
Perfect place to stay to explore Mesa Verde area. Remote area so close to nature but with all the amenities needed! Very comfortable digs. The hosts obviously took great care as to what to provide in the guest house. They were also very responsive. Highly recommend!! One of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at.
peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and relaxing. close to mesa verde national park ,and san juan mts. Unable to contact host. Highly recommended, especially in the fall.
Nice 1 bedroom apartment with a wood stove. The wood stove really warmed up the space nicely with little effort. Owner left a pizza and some eggs in the fridge. Nice if you get in late and don’t have time for grocery shopping.
This is a lovely guest house with a beautiful view of the mountains. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed in this quiet house near Mesa Verde National Park. We enjoyed the back yard garden, watching the humming birds and getting great tips for things to do from Heather and Chad. We will stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
