We are back in Ibis Styles hotel after a 4 day stay in Amazon. The hotel is located in the city center and is within walking distance to most of the city's attractions. The restaurant was convenient. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options with local delicacies and fruits.

The room was too small. The bed was comfortable. The staff have very limited English and it was difficult to communicate. The hotel is located in the city center and is within walking distance to most of the city's attractions. They have 24 hours reception which was good because our flight came in at 3am. Breakfast have hot and cold options and they even feature a local delicacy or two for us to taste.

Everything thats necessary- clean and comfortable

We made the mistake of booking a local place for 2 nights that didnt hold the rooms for us even though we prepaid. Ibis to the rescue! Clean and comfortable.. all i need!

What we liked : Hotel is conveniently located in the center of town, rooms are very basic but clean and air conditioned, excellent for relaxing, showering, napping before a pre-dawn departure, and prices are in accordance to what you get. What we did not like: as we arrived earlier than check in time, the clerk announced that the room was ready to be occupied but wanted us to pay an extra half a day for early check in. The room is paid for tor that day, they can’t sell that room and the customer is there. Bad customer care for this hotel.

Clean, Minimalist as is the brand, difficult to operate shampoo dispenser, responsive staff, I did not partake of breakfast, so I cannot review. This is just off the main street, less than half a block through Manaus down to the port.Good shopping and eating options, several Mercados to choose from.

Good value. Centrally located, walk to the teatro, supermercado, port of Manaus. Ibis is always minimal, this is no exception. Friendly service trying to be helpful, even if language separates us. Will store luggage if you are taking an Amazon tour.

This is a basic hotel that fulfilled everything I needed. Room was simple, no frills but clean to sleep and shower. There breakfast was ok, most of the food seemed to be gone by the time I made it down, but it was enough. Its not a far walk to the theatre and the lively nightlife in the square but it was far enough away that you didnt hear all the noise. This place is perfect for somebody on a budget but you probably wouldnt want to spend more than 2/3 nights there. I would stay there again.

The location of the hotel is excellent for sightseeing.The checkin process was horrendous as they could not check you in until they had set up a profile! for you which was taking an hour it is one of the worst hotel checkins i have experienced. The hotel was mediocre.

Nice location in the center of the old city. The hotel is 1 block from the opera house and the lively nightlife around the square, but slightly removed from the noise and relatively quiet. It seemed safe enough outside the apartment on the street, walking to the square. We frequently saw police right outside, and even within the entrance to the building. Good for the price, but the room was small and the sheet was too small for the bed. Large people would have a difficult time getting into the bathroom. The staff we met were polite. However, the maid came to clean the room in the mid-afternoon while we were napping and she knocked on the door repeatedly. Staff should know that if the door is locked and nobody answers a soft knock, to go away and not disturb guests.

Firstly the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Most of the main attractions are less than a 5 min walk from the hotel. The room was clean and came with the basics though I've noticed its a running theme in Brazil that plug sockets tend to be in the most awkward places so I would suggest you bring an extention or long enough charging cables to avoid the inconvenience. There are quite a few options available for breakfast (with the exception of the cereal once it runs out it doesn’t seem to get replenished so get there early if you want garnola) but it did get a bit repetitive after the second day, The hotel has a decent gym with all the standard equipment and machines, however I was disappointed to not see any cleaning materials available for use after a workout I can only assume the equipment is wipped down prior to close down but I do think it would be more hygienic if it was available for general use. Overall a very good hotel in an even better location.
