Море очень даже ничего. WiFi только на рецепшене. Питание так себе, однообразное, но съедобно. Питьевую воду надо покупать самим, если у вас не все включено. Вода из крана идет с перерывами, ополоснутся можно, мыться я бы не стал. Персонал хороший, делают что могут. Общее впечатление: а что вы хотели за такую цену?

Niet doen!

Wij hebben vier nachten geboekt, maar zijn na 1 nacht, midden in de nacht vertrokken omdat het er verschrikkelijk was. Op de tweede waaide en regende het heel hard. De kamer had geen verwarming, er stond alleen een kleine elektrische kachel, die veel te klein was voor de (ruime) kamer. Het was er verschrikkelijk koud, lag in bed met vijf dekens op mij en had ik het nog koud. Mijn man zat met zijn winterjas aan. Op een gegeven moment zagen wij dat de vloer blank stond. Dit bleek via de balkondeur binnen te komen. We hebben contact opgenomen met de receptie om dit te laten opruimen en we vroegen om een andere kamer. Mijn man, die Arabisch spreekt, werd zeer onheus bejegend. De receptionist deed uitspraken als:’ werk ik soms voor jou?’ en dat mijn man hem niets kon vertellen. De discussie werd wat feller en de receptionist ging over op, laten we zeggen, straattaal die ik hier niet zal herhalen. Er waren, voor zover wij konden zien, bijna geen andere gasten en ook een schoonmaker vertelde ons dat er amper andere gasten waren. Maar we kregen geen andere kamer. Toen mijn man aangaf dat we naar een ander hotel wilden, gaf men aan dat vooral maar te moeten doen als we dat nodig vonden. Hij kwam naar de kamer om mij te halen en toen we beneden langs de receptie liepen stonden er een paar mannen extra. Kennelijk was men voorbereid op een fysiek gevecht. Het is er dus koud, lek, vies en het personeel is onbehoorlijk,

Good value budget hotel

Rather tired and run down, but we had a double aspect room with sea view and extra heater at night. Demi pension is very good value with generous helpings of good food at dinner. No wifi in room but available in spacious furnished public areas. Walking distance to town (15 minutes) along pleasant sea promenade.

Hôtel globalement décevant

C'est la crise du tourisme et en plus c'était l'hiver! Nous sommes arrivés dans un hôtel quasiment vide. L'accueil à la réception a été minimum. Pas de possibilité de téléphoner de la chambre (il y a un taxiphone à l'extérieur ! ), mais les personnes qui ont essayé de nous joindre n'y sont jamais parvenues non plus. Il a fallu réclamer du papier toilette dans une chambre dès notre arrivée. Surprise en rentrant un soir, on nous a annoncé qu'on avait retiré la table d'une chambre pour les besoins d'une conférence ! Le drap était trop petit pour un lit double. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était plus que réduit. Notre séjour à Mahdia avait essentiellement pour but d'aller chaque jour voir la famille dans un village proche.Globalement, l'essentiel a été garanti, mais il nous a manqué le petit plus qui aurait pu rendre agréable le séjour dans cet hôtel.

Cadre excellent

Pour ce qui est rapport qualité/prix, c'est un hôtel acceptable voire même intéressant. Pour les petits budgets, je vous encourage à s'y rendre. Un conseil à donner aux responsables de l'établissement c'est d'interdire aux clients de fumer dans les espaces communs telle que la réception dont l'air est pollué par la fumée des cigarettes.

Le séjour a très mal commencé car je suis une personne a mobilité réduite et que le site de réservation a pas tenue conte de cette situation mais le réceptionniste de l’hôtel a bien récupérer la chose donc un bon séjour quand même mais zéro pour le site . Au passage je les avais contacté par téléphone pour assurer le séjour.
