The bathroom features a spacious double shower, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. With central heating and a cosy wood burner providing warmth during the winter months, Cowlas is a welcoming bolthole in every season. Outside, the large veranda is the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the fresh mountain air and spectacular scenery.
If you can be drawn away from the lodge, the vibrant market town of Machynlleth is just four miles away, offering artisan shops, independent cafés, local crafts and a weekly market. Cowlas is also within easy reach of the coast at Borth and Aberdyfi, as well as Cadair Idris and Dolgellau, making it an excellent base for walkers and cyclists. Nearby attractions include Dyfi Ospreys, Ynyshir RSPB Nature Reserve and the Talyllyn Railway, all around 15 minutes away. Follow local footpaths and cycle routes through this unspoilt landscape and experience nature at its finest, with Red Kites soaring overhead. Beach 19½ miles.
