Quiet and relaxed break at the edge of the desert. Facilities may be slightly dated but the staff made up for it in friendliness and flexibility e.g. with meal timings.
My wife and I stayed here the night before our camel trek to Erg Chigaga and absolutely loved it, so decided to stay another night after our trek as well. The staff are all very friendly, kind, funny and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing, with butterfly filled flowering bushes hiding the separate rooms from each other. The pool is the perfect cool escape from the midday heat with a quaint bar nearby and an excellent bar tender to serve cold drinks. It really feels like a hidden oasis paradise. We’ve been in Morocco for three weeks now, and this was our favorite place to stay so far.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We visited in the slow off-season, so we received a free room upgrade, which made the trip extra nice and economical. The shower was hot and had great water pressure, and the meals at the restaurant were good. Wi-Fi was pretty slow, but it worked, which is good for the area. Staff was very friendly. The pool looked a bit green, but I think it was undergoing maintenance since it was the offseason. This place is slightly out of the main M’Hamid town area, but our experience here was far better than what others experienced at nearby hotels.

Hotel at both ends of a desert trek
The first night I had a room with a shower that had a broken shower head which shot water all over the bathroom. The food was mediocre at best (better food on a solitary trek in the desert).
The return night after a week in the desert there was no hot water in the room and the tub was totally useless in holding water. A disappointment when I was really looking forward to a hot shower/bath to soak off the grime.
The staff is friendly and catered to every single request we had no matter how small. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the manager even gave us an upgrade to a better room. The bar sells alcohol if you feel like having a cold beer in the desert and the swimming pool is lovely. Highly recommend.
