  • Lovely view of old Lviv from the top of the tower in the center of Ploscha Rynok. That's the Latin Cathedral, one of the oldest still-active churches in the city. To climb the tower, go up the first four flights of stairs to the ticket desk. The way is clearly marked with signs in multiple languages, including English. At the desk, pay 10 hrivna and then keep climbing up, up, and up until you reach the open deck at the top of the tower. Then enjoy the view!

A beautifully decorated hotel in downtown Lviv, close to everything. Good size room and bathroom. Cleaning service was excellent. Surprisingly quiet despite being in the area with heavy traffic. Ruslan ( I believe he is a reception manager) was very helpful with every need or question. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again.

This is a great hotel in the very center of Lviv. Everything works! The dinner - Caesar salad with chicken - was wonderful. The personnel were always in task.

Great place!

Always great in the Swiss. I’ve stayed several times and will continue to stay when I go on R&R. One thing I learned is I don’t like the breakfast. I will not pay for the breakfast any more.

It was a small but comfortable hotel. Also very close to city center. But we paid 660 ukrainian money (hryvnia) to get a breakfast there, much more than average breakfast price in the restaurants of the town.

Warm and Friendly

We've stayed at the Swiss Hotel a number of times and keep coming back because it's the best hotel in Lviv. A little more expensive than some but really good value for money, especially for such a central location. Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, well appointed rooms, and their famous rooftop restaurant (although it was sadly closed during this visit).
