What an absolute gem of a hotel! Great location and such a beautiful building. From the minute we walked in the staff were really friendly and attentive and then when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities. Fab little coffee machine, nice biscuits, great steamer & hairdryer, as well as a lovely, comfortable bed and beautiful shower. We will definitely stay here the next time we stay in London.

Our room, two double beds, was well appointed with hair dryer, coffee/tea maker and steamer. The air conditioning worked great and was appreciated on the usually hot weekend we visited. Sam, the front desk manager, was friendly, knowledgeable and overall delightful. Always a greeting or wave when we entered or left the building. And lastly, SUPER close to Tower of London. Literally minutes away. Highly recommend.

This hotel was immaculate - from the entrance to each surface and floor it was perfectly clean like the fixtures and paint was laid yesterday. I was very impressed with the details, homeliness, and romantic comfortable feel of this hotel. I would stay again in a heartbeat and suggest any of my friends and family to stay! The air conditioner was amazing with fresh and clean air. The shower and soaps are going to help me change my ideas at home. I must say that the images online perfectly match the rooms and I will be back!

I thought the front end staff were very customer focused & helpful. Our issue was with who ever was servicing our rm . It was dusty , the garbage wasn’t being emptied? Then the last day we stayed they didn’t clean our rm at all . ? Over all I would recommend this hotel

An absolute (new) hidden gem for London hotel options! I had the pleasure of staying a few nights and I highly recommend it. The staff are lovely and a shout-out to the reception team who were friendly, helpful, and supportive. The hotel is very new and so has the new-smell vibe and so make for a very comfortable stay. The room was very well appointed and a comfortable size for central London, with excellent soundproofing from external noise and between rooms. The bed was great and the bathroom lovely. The breakfast has a nice range and was consistently high quality and a great way to start the day. So yes, overall a great stay and I'll definitely be back. Only small thing, very small, was that they have two different ways of signalling if you do or do not (eco-conscious) want housekeeping each day (one digital via a tablet the other a card for the door). Unfortunately didn't work out consistently and so likely a teething issue as only been open a few months. The housekeeping team were super lovely and responsive when we asked about it.

I just spent a lovely week there. The whole staff made my and my sisters and friends stay extraordinary, they are super attentive, friendly and above what you'd expect from 4 Stars! Especially the breakfast team from Roxy over Lotty to the front desk team with Anna and the others + Sam - what a lifesaver! The bar staff too (forget the names sadly). Breakfast in general is really great, fresh fruits, vegetarian options, coffee machine with oat milk! And you can watch squirrels outside. Rooms are modern, cozy and cute. Bath tub with a view on The Shard and thames is worth it imho. I'd come back any time - no doubt. Strongly recommend staying here. And you have a bus + metros nearby.

The Derby is a boutique hotel with high end decor and finishings. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to have our room ready prior to the standard check in time. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The room size was smaller than I expected for a King Suite. The small window and slanted ceilings made it seem even smaller. A bench or luggage rack would’ve been helpful as well. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

New hotel interior. Everything very clean. A bit of confusion on check in which could have been smoother. Think some staff are still learning the job which is understandable. Rooms are very compact but have everything you need. Bathroom very small but again fine for a short stay. Air con great. Coffee machine good. Bed not overly comfy but fine for one night. Great location, easy to walk to various tube stations or over the bridge to borough market. Would probably stay again but would want a larger room.
