The breakfast was fabulous with great service and beautiful surroundings. The roof top bar is a bonus in Summer for a relaxing drink before heading out. Location is so convenient for public transport and shopping at Spitalfields.

We stayed in the loft room, bed was comfy, bathroom had heated floors and was wonderful. The location is amazing and the rooftop bar was nice to end the night looking at city lights. Excellent restaurants in close proximity, and hotel staff is nice and helpful.

We stayed in the Eames room and it was amazing, a very uniquely designed and spacious room with lots of light. The location is amazing, right on redchurch street, an amazing place to shop. The staff could’ve been a bit warmer.

Great service. Each room is based on a different designer. Very cool. So spacious. Rooftop is dope, depending on the day and time consider reservations. Each Sunday roast dinner option is delicious! I will be returning.

An excellent option

Overall a lovely hotel in a great area surrounded by bars/restaurants. We had a dinner on the roof terrace which was outstanding and breakfast in the bar downstairs (fantastic quality too). The room was very spacious and immaculate but unfortunately they are all single glazed and I found it quite noisy from the street below. If you're not a light sleeper like me then I'm sure it's fine but I didn't have the best night unfortunately. Despite that, I would consider staying there again!

Great hotel in the middle of the action

Great hotel in a central location for Shoreditch. Bar on roof and downstairs are great. Staff very friendly. Room bigger than average for London with huge windows. Only small downside is noise. For our stay on a Saturday night it was noisy until late. Other than that I look forward to returning!

Stayed two nights, Saturday was very noisy until early morning but nice room and bathroom. Pretty close to bus stops, overground and not too far from Liverpool station. The main issue and reason why the hotel gets only 3 stars is the breakfast. The whole hotel is not a standard 5 stars, it is a bar/restaurant with very pretty rooms. The included breakfast is 20 pounds you pay in advance for 20 pounds credit at the restaurant. No buffet and if you go over you pay for the excess

There was no water in the room for 48hours! No shower, toilet, nothing, and then the rest of our stay with only cold water and beside being nice there was no reply from management, no compensation, not a word

Don’t upgrade or take the corner room.

Overall the service was not bad. But don’t ever take the corner room. Lots of noise from the street and workers. Lorris and dustbin lorris. From 6 am it’s triblle.

Spacious but…

The rooms are quite worn out and poorly planned. Like dirty carpets, no power outlets by the beds, can’t switch off lights without getting up, no phone directory (had to try many options to call the reception (it’s 00 by the way) Good space thou.

We really, really loved our hotel room at the Boundary. It was very light and spacious and so well designed with beautiful furniture (the Eames room). The location is amazing, right in the Shoreditch hotspot, next to great restaurants, shops and public transport. It's hard to think of negatives, but I found two things: at night and in the morning it can be quite noisy due to garbage trucks and partying crowds. On our first night there was a party on the rooftop of the hotel and a woman puked on the pavement near the entrance. And a minor problem: the hairdryer does not get hot. But overall we had a lovely stay and we were sad to leave our comfy and homely room.
