Nice, clean, well presented, and warm room and very pleasant staff. Balham has lots of options for dining, feels safe and is easy to get to, especially by the tube. The guest house is only a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) from Balham centre and tube. I have stayed here previously and will definitely use again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very small, which was usable; however, the shower and bathroom space was so narrow that it was difficult to wash and get ready. I enjoyed the proximity to the park, restaurants, and tube. The lodge felt safe and was definitely a good value.

Lovely guesthouse, kept spotlessly clean, with wonderful, very pleasant and extremely helpful staff. Located in a nice area with an easy walk into Balham which has a multitude of restaurants and feels safe. Would fully recommend and definitely use again

An excellent find! This was an outstanding hotel despite only booking for a one night stay. The room was clean, warm, comfortable with everything we needed. The building is stunning and the member of staff on duty was friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet despite being on a busy main road. There is a bus stop just nearby but it is only a 10 minute walk to Balham station/centre. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Many thanks

This was my 4th stay at this Lodge and have never been disappointed, Staff on reception are always courteous. Rooms are very warm in the Summer but fans are provided. will definitely be back.

We were on the top floor so the water pressure wasn’t great - had a very awkward shower. Sloped ceiling and the WiFi didn’t reach us so had to walk bent over half the time and go downstairs to use the internet. It was quite clean but the mattresses seemed pretty budget. Was quirky to look at and good access. Neighbourhood seemed pretty quiet.

Solo concert trip

All good, a little out of the way but ok as 15 walk to main rail station, someone on reception, room very clean, bed comfortable, heating on ,safe and quiet, room dated and tv a effort tobget to work as poor controls hence 1 star off..for a budget stay and price very good.
