This property is rather small but satisfactory for the needs of most travelers. The staff shows to be extremely helpful and the property is conveniently located to transportation links. This is our second stay and would stay again.

If you want a place to sleep that's clean and a good value, this is a good choice. Two blocks from Paddington and two blocks fron Lancaster Gate Central Line stop, on a nice street. A no-frills place with no lobby or any other amenities, but very comfortable beds.

Not bad for the price

Great location, clean. We opted for triple rooms on a business trip and stayed one person per room. The beds are comfortable and even if the hotel is by a main road it was very quiet at night and I slept very well. Good coffee, tea facilities in the room and lots of places to ear nearby. The hotel does need renovating but is acceptable for a night or two business trip on a budget.

One night in Paddington

Room small no table/chair and no lift in hotel but this is typical of small hotels in Sussex Gardens and more than adequate for a one or two night stay. Good value for money. Comfortable bed. The hotel will allow you to store luggage after check out for the rest of the day which is really helpful for a further days activity before leaving London. Lots of pubs bars and restaurants nearby and very handy for transport links.

We enjoyed our stay at Aaraya Hotel. It was just a short walk from Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Rooms were cute and clean. They were in the middle of renovating the rooms so they had to switch us out of our room that fit our family of 5 part way through our stay, but they gave us two rooms beside each other for no extra cost. They have No eating area at the hotel so you have to plan to eat out. One gem that we found just a couple blocks away was The Stable Hand. Excellent food and service.

Good stay

Stayed for 2 nights single room. I had a double bed in the basement, parts of the wall had been plastered but not painted which wasn't a problem. Room was spacious, I think I was lucky getting this room and can't comment on a single bedroom. I would stay there again but don't think I would be so lucky with the room.

My chief complaint is that the website needs to be updated. We booked this hotel specifically because it offered breakfast, as shown in the website photo gallery. They do not serve breakfast! The website also shows a different hotel name and decor. Please update. This is extremely misleading. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, affordable place to stay. Quiet street. Close to bars, restaurants and all transportation. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean.

This hotel is on a lovely street, very London-tree lined with gorgeous houses most of which are hotels. We paid for parking across the road for the two days across the road which was very convenient. Its close to Paddington station and restaurants and bars. The room was clean, the staff on reception were very helpful. The breakfast is a bag that you take away which had juice, fruit, yogurt, cereal bar and croissant. Would stay here again

Classic old London hotel with narrow staircase and small rooms. Wonderfully close to paddington station and Hyde park. But lack of a bath fan in such a cramped space was really unpleasant. Also the bag breakfast was ok but it’s time to go back to buffet style.
