Clean, welcoming, great staff, excellent food.
Next to a noisy main road, expected a historic pub/hotel given the name but it was modern and the bathroom was cramped.

Really friendly and helpful staff ,dog friendly nothing was too much trouble
A most enjoyable stay. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Excellent service with very pleasant staff. Only one small niggle - the sound insulation between rooms/floors not great.
This is exactly the sort of hotel we need to find more often. Small hotel with efficient friendly staff, very clean rooms. Prettily decorated with a really good dining menu. Good value for money. Will stay again and highly reccomend.
Staff were particularly helpful and pleasant not to mention very efficient. Abi was the very best example of a staff member who did everything to ake our short stay enjoyable.
The shower in room 11 needs attention as does the loose toilet seat, otherwise impeccable.
Really comfortable and quiet hotel, bed was a little hard for my wife and I, but that is just personal preference. Restaurant was excellent, we both had the lamb and it was wonderful
