Friendly hostel hotel near the ocean

This is a great place that has shared rooms and private rooms. The people that work here are awesome. Thanks guys, it was fun. Little bar upstairs and beach is close.

Very clean room. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was great. 10 minutes walk to the beach and the boardwalk. Good assortment of places to eat within a 10 min walk. Make sure you are ok with no air con.

I would have liked to give this hotel a 5 star rating but cleanliness was lacking, it was noisy and although we asked for pick up at the airport nobody showed up. Otherwise, ver well located.

Location was good. Breakfast was okay. They had a party in the lobby with about 20 guests until 2am. Full blast. The lobby and the rooms are pretty close so it felt like it was right on our room. Pretty bad as the space was small too.

Llaqta was a nice middle ground between a hostel and hotel. The rooms were nice and the owner was friendly. In the evening there was a happy hour and one night we played beer pong before going to a club. Be forewarned that it can be relatively noisy until about 12:00-1:00 AM. So if you are sensitive to noise I would not recommend. Payment could be made via card.

Awesome boutique hotel in Miraflores with cool guests. The boardwalk is a couple blocks away and there are plenty of restaurants, attractions and shopping nearby. Thanks Johnny, Manager, for the amazing service and making my short stay as enjoyable as possible. I would love to stay here again and would recommend it!

Llaqta Hotel is family run, and on the quieter side. Its located in the Miraflores district, which is very safe for foreigners. The staff is friendly, and their is a complimentary breakfast offered in the morning - made to order eggs, and buffet style fruits, breads, and yogurt. There's also self-serve tea and coffee. The owner / man who runs the front desk prefers cash (as some other reviews mentioned), and on my evening arrival had me walk several blocks away from the hotel to an ATM. As a solo female traveler, this set in motion my negative feelings about the location, and getting sick the next day didn't improve my feelings. There is a courtyard pool available to guests, although I didn't use it, and the rooms are all accessible through an enclosed outdoor courtyard. The door's are solid wood (no peephole), so there's no way of knowing whose at the door until you open it. Room is also on the smaller side, and there's no air conditioning; however, I was provided a rotating tower fan, which made the conditions bearable. All in all, the location is convenient for shorter stays or if traveling with a close friend or partner. Outside of the pool, there aren't too many onsite amenities, so I'd also recommend the location as a hub for visits around Miraflores (or the surrounding area), rather than a "home away from home." There is a water fill-up station near the kitchen area, and an indoor lounge living room style-seating area with a television.

Flexibility of staff was good. Minor problem with payment, was discouraged from paying by card. Cash would’ve been more inconvenient for me. Room was clean, although bed was too firm. Breakfast was great.
