Nice hotel with a good location in miraflores

Nice and helpful staff, some of them speak English. Didn’t mind making us breakfast early at 6:00 am in order to catch our flight. Breakfast is nothing special but fine for the price. Rooms and comfort are good. The shower does have a little trouble not getting either very hot or very cold. Hotel is located at a perfect spot in the middle of Miraflores.

I love that is a big Casona but definitely needs upgrades. Poor lighting in the bathroom, stain old mirrors and the door nob wasn't really working, I was locked out once and the staff didn't have a spare key. Staff was very accommodating to adjust my breakfast, I was allow to keep in their fridge a yogurt and I was asked often if my room needbut cleaning which I was pleased.

We stayed at El Monarca for 4 days in December 2023. The hotel is a good location, and the property itself looks quite nice. The room was very dusty when we checked in and the front desk clerk would only let us have 2 towels, despite booking a room for 4. There was no air conditioning, the room was quite hot and we had to open the windows and didn`t sleep well because of drivers driving by and honking...Overall, the hotel was decent for the money paid, but it could have been cleaner and I`m not sure about the towel thing?

Very budget friendly and for that reason expectation need to be adjusted. The current condition of the room is not reflected in photos on website, especially the condition of the bathroom. Low water pressure and basic general upkeep needed. I ended up checking out a day early and did not request refund. Just couldn’t take the discomfort from having to use the bathroom.

O quarto não tinha ar-condicionado e nem ventilador o que deixava muito quente. Eu tive um problema com o aquecimento da água do chuveiro, mas foi resolvido rápido. Os atende são muito educados e gentis. O café da manhã não achei que veio uma boa quantidade, mas era bom.

L'hôtel comme le personnel, tout s'est bien passé. Je reviendrais. Je les apprécie beaucoup et j'ai passé un très bon séjour. L'hôtel est au centre ville. Tout est à proximité. C'était génial. Merci à vous !

El personal fue muy amable, le ayudaba a mi papá a chorrear café que trajimos de Costa Rica(eso lo agradezco mucho) Luis fue de mucha ayuda y amable. La ubicación del lugar es excelente! Súper cerca de tiendas y restaurantes! Lo malo es que el agua caliente a veces no funcionaba y teníamos que pedirle ayuda al personal. La cama se le sentían los resortes (mi papá durmió bien, entonces no estoy molesta por eso) la limpieza faltaba un poco :( apenas llegamos a la habitación estaba sucio el piso y las ventanas tenían manchas extrañas. Lo demás, excelente!
