"We stayed for 6 weeks with our 2 small dogs. The garden was large and fully fenced, but not entirely secure for small dogs who could get under the gates. Bigger dogs would be fine. The house is all on one level, with a modern bathroom, two comfortable double bedrooms and an open plan lounge, kitchen/diner with log burner.Ideally situated in a small village with easy access to all the beautiful sites nearby. Fantastic restsurant in the village."

"The house is well equipped with good kitchen facilities. The table-tennis table was a nice to have and it was good to have a heated pool in September. There was good communication with the host before and during the stay.The WiFi worked well (we saw previous comments so wanted to confirm that everything was fine).Would definitely stay again!"

"This was our second stay at this special property, and we had a wonderful time. The host and property manager are kind and helpful. The property is peaceful and well located to explore the area - it is also incredibly relaxing to just stay by the pool and river. We plan on a third visit!"

"Lovely house, pool and location - directly on the bank of the Dordogne river. Really peaceful and quiet village, coming from the Home counties the lack of aeroplane noise and sirens was so refreshing. The small town of Lalinde has all you need and a lovely restaurant in the town square. We spent a day in Bergerac, visited Castelnaud, Sarlat, Tremolat, Limeuil, Le Buisson, Beynac & Lascaux - Recommend all of them. A canoe trip along the river was a real highlight for us, there is so much to do. Don't overlook a wine tasting tour, organise your own, all of the vineyards are super welcoming. The whole area is so clean, friendly and welcoming, try speaking a little French, it goes a long, long way.In short, we had a fantastic two weeks at a lovely, large property. Thanks you."

"We had a lovely stay at Villa Nature whilst in the area for a family wedding. Chris was incredibly welcoming, the house was perfect and the pool was a welcome cure for the after party hangover!Close enough to shops/restaurants to be able to eat out conveniently, but far enough away to feel remote and quiet. "

"A great property, very high quality. Tremolat has a good range of places to eat and a well stocked small shop as well as a garage. There are fantastic places to visit in the area, caves, pretty villages, chateau, the river, many places to cover all interests and never more than an hours drive at worst. A fantastic area for quality food and wine. We saw wild deer at dusk near the property and loved the luxury, the extensive facilities, the pool, all the outdoor sitting and lounging areas, just take precautions for the mosquitoes in the evening if you are outside but that goes for anywhere in the summer. We ate in Le Bistrot de la Place (amazing), Restaurant les Berges (lovely and good value) Nulle Part Ailleurs (great pizza and good value) and of course the Bergerac wines are amazing too.. We appreciated the good WiFi, great kitchen, big family dining table, separate showers and toilets for both bedrooms, the air conditioning and the washer dryer in the laundry. A great place to stay and use as a base to tour the area. Loved it and Arno is super helpful and attentive."

"We have just returned from staying here, the photos really don't do it justice, it is beautiful and so peaceful. The pool made our holiday and even on a hot day it didn't get too hot in there as you can open all the doors. The kids loved an evening swim with the disco lights on and music. The pool table was a brilliant addition as was the table tennis. Ideally situated for day trips, Bergerac was only 25 mins away. We found we had to pre book tables at local restaurants as they do get very busy. Thierry and Martine were lovely hosts, on hand to contact if you needed them and very quick to respond to any queries but left you to enjoy your holiday in the most beautiful surroundings."
