"I booked a deluxe studio villa and upon arrival, maybe because it was Mother’s Day weekend and we got there around 1AM but the man checking us in upgraded my son and I into a 1 bedroom villa! He gave me all the info about things to do and amenities, gave me a map for all the pools and told me just about anything else I needed to know about the resort. Anyways the 1 bedroom villa (in building 5800) must’ve been renovated recently because it didn’t look anything like the pictures I’ve seen when I originally booked. It had a full kitchenette, I never really had to leave the resort to eat out since I was able to cook in our place. I just wish the waterpark was opened a little longer and they didn’t have height restrictions for the water slides, my son is fairly tall and was only allowed to use the 3 “big kid” ones and wanted to use the others on the 2nd floor waterpark since he was scared but he was told he couldn’t. Definitely planning to come back again, the last time I stayed at Westgate was back in 2007 or 2008 when I was a kid. You can’t beat the price and staff were extremely friendly. If you’re not a miserable entitled Kevin/Karen and you’re pleasant to staff, you’ll love your stay here and they’ll treat you with the same kind of respect!"

"I booked a 2 bedroom with a bigger king room paid for lake view went to the room and it was dirty had a awful smell like some dead fish.i went back to the front desk to change rooms they then gave me another 2 bedroom and i asked before i left if i was the same type of room i booked with a lake view.Receptionist said yes i went to the room and it was smaller and a tree was blocking the view. This room also the shower was nasty and waterbugs like crazy also the washer was nasty had hair in and a mold smell just like the dish washer .The beds were so hard. I went back diwn and said im need the price difference on the room the manager said it is a difference but it is when i booked also paid extra for a lake view tbh i need my money back or even half because this was the worse resort i ever stayed at. Manager said he cant do anything about that.on top of everything when i booked it said nothing about the water park lazy river and yellow and green slide was closed so we didn't enjoy the experience and the food was trash definitely overpriced. Dont recommend to no one."

"Just overall bad and dirty. Ducks swimming in pool to overflowing toilets and Ac to maintenance entering my room when my 15 year old daughter was in the shower. I could go on.."

"Dear Hilton Management Team, I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my recent stay. As a long-time Hilton guest, I arrived with the expectation of receiving at least the standard level of service I have consistently experienced over the past 30 years. Unfortunately, my experience at this property fell far below that standard. At check-in, I was required to swipe my card approximately six times before the system accepted it. This triggered a fraud alert with American Express, resulting in my card being temporarily locked. I was also surprised to see a $300 incidental hold placed on my card—something I have never encountered at any Hilton property throughout my decades of travel. The issues continued the following morning. As I pulled back the linens, I discovered stains that were clearly not mine. I immediately reported this to management, and I was assured the room would receive a thorough cleaning and that fresh towels would be provided. Despite these assurances, the next day I received multiple text messages from staff members, including Eric and Andra, promising a deep cleaning that never occurred. After returning from a full day at Disney World, I found that the room had still not been cleaned. I ultimately had to call down close to midnight just to request clean towels. This experience was deeply disappointing and far from what I expect from any Hilton-branded property. I am requesting that this matter be reviewed and addressed appropriately. K.P."
