Very comfortable room, with a private washroom in a wonderful location, that is close to transit and downstairs there are tons of cheap delicious restaurants. For the price i have zero complaints, and I would stay here again. Very friendly staff, and you will never be hungry.

The location is perfect and very close to TST station and star ferry. We were not stopped at all by anyone at the entrance so dont really need to worry abt safety. We arrived at 9 pm and there was a long queue at block A and D. Make sure to look carefully which level you are going to as the queue are different. The room is small but its the norm for HK. Toilet is small but able to have a hot bath. Some area need to be cleaned though. Towels and toothpaste toothbrush are provided. No botttled water but microwave and hot water are available at the common shared area. Reception is at level 16 but rooms can be at other levels in blkD or C. Be sure to request for nearby rooms earlier if u book multiple rooms.

We booked 3 rooms. Party of 7. The pictures are extremely DECEITFUL. Actual rooms were FAR FROM PIC SHOWN. Gross bathrooms with cracked sinks, nasty showers with black slime in grout. Hallways were VERY STINKY of smelly oily food. You need to smell this stink for at least 15 mins while waiting for the elevator. This building has no service lift so you go up and down with the trash. And there is only 1 lift going to your floor (2 elevators, 1 going to even, and 1 going to idd # floors). Once we had to wait almost 1 hr and 15 mins because the cleaning maid was getting the trash from each floor and loading trash bags in the lift, disallowing anyone to get on. The management BYPASSES the lift requests by residents to PRIORITIZE TRASH. Someone had to call the elevator people to tell them to get us on- this was our FLIGHT day! SECURITY IS A PROBLEM. Anyone can go in/out of this building, got random knocks on doors from strangers at night that creeped us out. They use actual keys so who knows who has copies of these keys! We paid $185 for 3 nights booked 1 mo ahead. Price dropped to $130 days just 2 days to arrival because NO ONE WAS BOOKING!! Dont be deceived - they have different categories for the rooms, some more expensive bec theyre bigger, but when we got there - ALL ROOMS ARE THE SAME SIZE, ALL CRAPPY!! This is NOT a hotel. These are units owned by someone and he is milking these units for as much $ as he can while spending ZERO on needed repairs for the rooms.

いつも泊まっているホテルが何故だか3倍以上の価格になっており流石に 1泊5万以上は払えないと価格なリーズナブルな初のゲストハウスへ。 受付は16階に所在。寝床は 1フロア下の15階でした。扉を開けるとベットとトイレが。 窓は無く窮屈に感じましたが寝るだけであれば 問題はないと思いました。ただ部屋の鍵が閉まらなかったのが問題でしたがロケーションも良いので価格が高騰している香港での安旅、価格重視の方には良いかと思います。ただ 1階は ターキッシュ人のお店が殆どで女性にはオススメしません。、
寝るだけだったら全然、十分！

日程が急遽変更して慌てて探し直したところ、値段がそこそこですので、大丈夫かなと思いましたが、一晩眠れなかったです。受付の人はとても親切でしたが、部屋はとにかく狭くて古い。エレベーターはいつも並びますし、ビルの入り口の周りに中東系の勧誘が多くて特に女性におすすめできないです。

値段に見合ったお部屋でした。狭いですがそこまで気になる汚さはありませんでした。 お掃除には入ってくれましたが、タオルの交換が無かったのが残念でした。

홍콩에서 처음 묶은 숙소 한국의 고시원에 개인 화장실 샤워기 있다고 보면됨 침대위에 올라서다 천장에 선풍기와 몇번 머리부딫침 다른 곳 여기보다 낮겠지 하고 간곳은 이 가격대에 오히려 이곳 만 못해서.. 홍콩은 이 가격대에 거의 침대와 캐리어 놓을 수 있는 정도 7~8만원 선에서 골라야 겨우 한국 모텔 수준

Fair price and great location, but smelly

The price was quite good for budget hotel and matched with hotel's quality. The location is very convenient. Lots of stores around at night time. Very easy to travel anywhere due to its location being close to the bus station where many buses and subway connecting to other areas are passing. However, there were some downsides as well. First was the building itself was not very new or clean at all. Second was the elevators, one for odd floors and one for even floors with super low capacity of 5-6 people per trip. It was impossible to handle human traffic at rush hours and in the morning you may need to walk downstairs for 16 floors if you are in a rush. Lastly, the smell is rather unpleasant in the room and it won't go away no matter what. If you have runny nose or have high tolerance with weird smell then you can survive this easily, otherwise, bring some spray.

狭いだけで快適でした。

受付は16Fにあって夜中の3時過ぎでもチェックイン大丈夫でした。部屋は9Fにありました。重慶大厦のエレベータは7人で満員となります。シャワーはちょろちょろだと思ってたらそうではなくちゃんと勢いよく出るよう給湯器？が設置されていました。空調の音が大きかったですがこの時期付けなくても過ごせました。ミネラルウォーターのサービスはありません。

16階の受付にいった後、通された場所は8階のフロア。一人部屋だったのでベッドプラスアルファのスペース。シャワーはトイレと同じ場所であり想定内であるが水量がやや弱い。安い場所なりのところであるが立地など考えると十分合格点だと思われる！

ใกล้แหล่งท่องเที่ยว เดินทางสะดวก

ห้องพักหาไม่ยากอยู่ใจกลางเมือง แต่ทางขึ้นไปสถานที่พักแออัด มีแต่แขกผิวดำยื่นเต็มไปหมดเพื่อหาลูกค้าเข้าพัก ลิฟท์ใช้ขึ้นที่พักเล็ก รองรับได้ประมาณ 7 คน และรอนานและช้ามาก สำหรับห้องพักไม่ค่อยสะอาด ต่างจากที่ได้ดูในรูปของเวปไซต์ ห้องน้ำคับแคบอย่างมาก เข้าไปแล้วแทบกระดิกตัวไม่ได้เลย แถมไม่ค่อยสะอาดเท่าไร กระจกในห้องน้ำเป็นคราบๆ ไม่มีการทำความสะอาด ที่นอนเวลานอนแล้วคันมาก วันรุ่งขึ้นเหมือนมีคนเข้ามาทำความสะอาดเพราะมีการพับผ้าห่มนำมาวางไว้ปลายเตียงแต่กลับไม่มีการปัดทำความสะอาดเตียง แถมเอาผ้าเข็ดตัวไปแต่กลับไม่นำมาเปลี่ยนให้ กลับมาถึงห้องตอนดึกหาผ้าเช็ดตัวไม่เจอ ต้องเดินออกไปขอ ซึ่งเราพัก 3 คน แต่กลับให้มาผืนเดียว ต้องขอใหม่ถึงจะได้ ผ้าเช็ดตัวไม่สะอาดมีคราบทุกผืนและเหมือนใช้จนบางไม่ยอมเปลี่ยน เพราะมีรอยด่างๆของผ้า ในห้องไม่มีน้ำแจกตั้งแต่วันแรกที่เข้าพัก ทริปหน้าคงไม่เข้าพักที่นี่ละครับ เพราะกลับถึงไทยแล้วยังคันอยู่เลย

The best cheap stay in HK

I'm a 5'2 American woman who stayed at the Tokyo Hostel in Chungking Mansion for a little under a month. First, Chungking Mansions (where the hostel is located) is truly one of the most interesting locations in Hong Kong. It features cheap and delicious cuisine from all over. My personal favorite were the cheap samosas sold all over on the first floor. There are cuisines from all over South Asia and Africa so please go try them! Second, the place itself is not for everyone. If you're a traveler looking for the cheapest rooms in HK, this is the place to go. The rooms are minimal in terms of size but towels are provided and changed daily free of charge. The rooms are clean and did not have large bugs (something I everywhere else in HK). The Wi-Fi is absolutely incredible, and was better than most hotels I've stayed at (a surprising perk). Third, I've read too many reviews from people who felt unsafe or uncomfortable because of the large number of immigrants, particularly Indians, present at Chungking. I can understand that the entrance to Chungking can be a bit overwhelming as everyone tries to convince you to go to their restaurant, hostel, etc. but it is not a violent environment. Competition is fierce, and this is an effective way to promote restaurants and hostels. During my time in Chungking, I met so many kind Indians, Pakistanis, people who have lived in Chungking for years, and they always made me feel welcome and safe.

Хороший хостел, мне понравился. Комнаты маленькие, но бывают и еще меньше, так что нечего жаловаться. Надо быть сразу готовым к тому, что на первом этаже здания куча индусов. В целом понравилось, остановился бы тут еще раз

Nous avons réservé en fonction du descriptif donné sur le site Hotels.com. Chambre de 11m2, coffret de sécurité, réfrigérateur, TV et plateau café inclut, photos de chambres intéressantes. À l'arrivée, chambre octroyée à peine 6m2, aucun coffret de sécurité, ni réfrigérateur, ni café. Nous avons demandé d'être changé de chambre. À la réception, on nous dit qu'il n'y a jamais eu de chambre de 11m2. Que les réfrigérateurs avaient été retirés ainsi que les plateaux. Les TV ne fonctionne pas - Qui écoute la télé aujourd'hui nous dit-on. La seule chambre qui nous est offerte est située devant la réception. Un peu plus grande, mais nous entendions tout ce qui se passait à l'extérieur. Les draps étaient tachés. Le lit avait de longs cheveux et le ventilateur au plafond était -enrobé- de poussière. We booked based on the description on Hotels.com website. Room of 11m2, safety box, refrigerator, TV and coffee tray includes, good photos of the rooms. Upon arrival, room barely 6m2, no safety box, no refrigerator, no coffee. We asked to be moved. At the front desk, we were told that there was never a 11m2 room offered. That the refrigerators were removed as well as the trays. Televisions do not work - Whoever listens to TV today is told us. The only room available is located in front of the reception. A little bigger... we could hear everything that happens outside. The sheets are stained. The bed had long hair and the ceiling fan was dust-coated.
