"The room was spotless and very comfortable. Obviously the Hotel is in transition. By and by rooms are being prepared to welcome guests. Only 11 rooms are available to book at this point. The price per room is unbelievably low. Especially since the electricity bill must be enormous. The hotel was overheated and lights were on in almost every hall, lounge and room and stayed on during the night. Heating as well as the lights. No consideration was given to the ecological impact. "Quaint . Location is perfect for day trips around the highlands. Closest town, aberlour is quite lovely with restaurants, butcher, hardware store (where you can buy logs and kindling for warmth), cafe and a Coop for grocery shopping. Walkers shortbread factory is right outside the town proper! "
