Premium penthouse in Keystone, great pool - The Springs! Walk to slopes.

The Springs is the best complex in River Run. It has an amazing rock pool with water slides, hot tubs, and fire pits. This is on the top floor, with vaulted ceilings and a view of the slopes. It has two patios, one off the main living area and one off the master bedroom.

If you are going to Keystone, River Run is the place to stay. Access to pools, hot tubs, restaurants, bars, and walking distance to the gondola. If you choose River Run, Springs is the best complex to choose. Many of the other complexes all share the same swimming pool. Springs has its own facilities, including the best pool at Keystone.

Springs offers complimentary Wifi, underground garage parking, ski storage, laundry facilities and outdoor hot tubs on site.
Sleeping accommodations: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, Queen sofa sleeper, full-sized bunk beds. Condo sleeps 12 comfortably.

Springs has a kids playroom and a theater room on-site. This building is just steps from the gondola.

IMPORTANT

Future Rates - Currently, the rates are set through 4/30/2027 and we've blocked our calendar from then on. If you are looking to book after that date, please reach out for a quote.

Negotiating Rates - I set rates that I feel are appropriate. I'm not likely to negotiate rates as I already set the rates at a fair level for this property and time of year. I just say this because I seem to get 2-3 offers per day below the quoted rates. I would rather save us both the time, and let you know that what you see is what you get.

Similar Unit - This condo often books out way ahead of time. If your dates are booked, you might consider a very similar 4-bedroom unit that is in the building next door (Red Hawk). It is also an upgraded 4-bed / 4-bath unit and can be found here:

Minimum Stay - We accept one-night stay requests for Sunday through Thursday nights. However, if a stay includes a Friday or Saturday night, we usually require a two-night minimum. The exception is if the property is only available for one night.

Parking - The unit is only guaranteed on garage spot. We haven't had issues parking a second car as long as it isn't a crazy-busy weekend, but please know that only one spot is guaranteed.

We loved staying here! The massage chair was a huge hit! Cody the owner was wonderful to work with. There were a few hiccups with check in due to the management company but Cody was extremely responsive and took care of everything. We loved our stay! The condo is beautiful, clean and perfect for families with children! The kids loved the pool and enjoyed the convenience of the slopes being right there. Thank you for a great stay! We plan on returning in the future.

When we first arrived, we realized that the email that was sent to us the day prior to our arrival did not contain the code to the door of the unit we were staying in. It only contained the codes to the building door and garage door. We called the property management team that manages this unit, and had to wait about 30 minutes to receive a backup code (we were directed by the owners of the unit that all communication should go through this property management company and never spoke to the owners beyond an initial message sent in Vrbo instructing us to communicate with this property management company directly). Once inside the unit, we realized several items were damaged or broken, including a hole in the wall of one of the rooms, a damaged mirror, and damaged furniture. We reported this directly to the property management company (with pictures) as soon as we noticed these items. In addition, the sheets in one of the rooms appeared possibly used, but all other bedding seemed appropriate. In trying to use the washing machine in the unit, we discovered it smelled pretty bad (maybe it had not been used in a while) and ultimately decided not to use it. It was helpful to have a book that listed important information/phone numbers about the building, but it would have been helpful to have front desk staff in the building to help clarify anything building related. Otherwise, the unit was okay: we really enjoyed the massage chair and the breathtaking views from the unit!

Arrived at the property at 4:30pm, check in was 4:00pm. Only one of the two elevators will reach the 5th floor, and it was broken. No update or info was provided about this issue, so we had to figure out to take the other elevator to the 4th floor, then find/take the stairs to the 5th floor. Upon entering the unit, we were unexpectedly greeted by a man who claimed to be from HOA maintenance. He gave no info/explanation, and quickly left the room. There was a substantial amount of mold in one of the showers. Soundbar in the living room was partially ripped off the wall. Had to adjust the furniture to set it on something. The ski locker for the unit on parking level 2 would not work for the entirety of the trip. HOA finally said they needed a new part. Several of the light switches in the unit were disabled. Finally found the tiny switch on the bottom of them to enable the switch and use the lights. The location of this unit is misleading. All the new construction is blocking the access to the gondola, and requires a longer than advertised re-reroute. I would never book this property again. Extremely disappointing, especially considering the price you pay for it.

Once we arrived it took 1-2 calls to first get a code to get into the building. And then another two calls to get the code to get into the room. The room was nice. The new construction made things farther to walk. Idk if I’d consider this a ski in ski out when you have to walk around the new construction.

This rental did not stack up to its expectations. We used a bathroom plunger on Christmas Eve to try to unstop the kitchen sink being unsuccessful. Tried to find Drano at the local store to no availIcemaker didn’t work!!!! Two ice trays is not enough..No mattress covers on beds. This is just unsanitary No pillow covers on pillows. Again very unsanitary. We had to safety pin our sheets to our mattress to keep them from coming off as the sheets do not fit. Closets were a mess with used pillows that need to be thrown in the garbage. All closets were a left a mess with bedding fans, etc. Thrown about.Vacuum cleaner was really gross and appears to not been emptied and smelled terrible.No heat lamp in master bath. Lights missing. Light switch also did not work in third bedroom. Bathroom tub faucet was falling off the wall. Needs replacement. Sprayer in kitchen sink would not turn off would spray water all over every where and everyone trying to use it! Crockpot did not work as we requested. Owner should look for new management. This was the worst Vrbo experience we have ever had. We’ll be back to keystone and will be sure not to book this place again.

No details of nearby construction that blocks off walking directly to the gondola or river run shopping. Early morning construction work will wake you up! Shortage of towels for hot tub every night.

Great property

Condo was great and spacious for a family of 5 and grandpa who tagged along. Making 6 of us total. The massage chair was an added bonus for his 70yo bones after a day of skiing. As with most of these properties I always feel a good deep clean would be good and small minor repairs are always needed- traps and drains cleaned out, handles tightened, blinds fixed etc. But overall general cleanliness was good! I noticed lots of pack n plays, high chairs, aerobeds in the closets which are awesome if you have a big family staying there. As a mom of 3 littles loved the W/D accessibility but washer stunk like mildew as most front loaders do. But still worked great in a pinch. We did have the fire alarm go off 2 days in a row from 2-4p (multiple times) maintenance was prompt and came to check out the problem and there was nothing found. Funny enough I had family rent this place in 2017 and they said the same thing happened to them but at 3a. So not sure if this is a thing with this condo and is some sort of original issue. Speaking of construction- yes there is some right out front. My 4yo boy LOVED watching it. If you have kids the 6:45a start time at the site is not a problem at all. Overall we would stay here again. Kitchen well stocked, bathrooms well stocked and well appointed. Loved that there were two bedrooms with King beds and the Springs has a great pool for kids. The construction really didn’t deter us and it really didn’t make for a much longer walk in the morning.

Incredible! Short Walk to Gondola and Keystone Village

This place was perfect for our group. The walk to the Gondola was 5-10 minutes, really easy. The building amenities are great, the heated pool with a water slide and hot tubs were great. The big bonus was the playroom for our younger children. And the massage chair in the unit was awesome, it was constantly in use! Definitely recommend!

Great Location…Prop. Mgmt. Not so…

Great location, lovely floor plan. The condition was dusty, some items broken like the pulls for the blinds, and the hot water never got hot, but was lukewarm+. There was food left in the master bed, under the covers. Felt like it had not been properly cleaned in a while. Property owner was responsive, we had some issues contacting the property management company, ironically contacting their “text us with any request,” line, which was never replied to, then we had to leave two vms, and wait for a call back. The check in instructions were helpful, but may have been with a different rental company, we were marooned for about 27mins trying to figure out if the owner was who we follow with the video, or the property management company. We did get in, it was frustrating. The owner was responsive, and helpful, it seemed the property management company just dropped the ball on cleaning then added confusion to the check in process, and added frustration with a useless number to text with any issues.

Loved the property overall! Plenty of space for multiple generations and quite a bit to do at the resort. Super bright with all the windows (could use blinds) and some noise challenges with the construction but over a great vacation!

Great Location...Except For Major Construction! 😡

I have stayed at River Run before and is right outside the lifts....HOWEVER,there is no mention that there is construction of a brand new condominium complex going up right in front of River Run condos. Construction started around 6 or 6:30am and sometimes went later than 10pm with bright construction lights shining in the master bedroom. The unit needs a deep clean. Comforters and blankets aeem very dirty. Lighting inside unit horrible. One of the tubs does not drain. Soneone needs to get in there and clean hair out of all the drains. All toilet seats loose. No hooks in bathrooms for towels or wet swimsuits. I do have some good things to say. First, the kitchen was well stocked. Beds were fairly comfortable. In spite of construction site,still close to lift. Just have to walk around some fencing. Plenty of seating at kitchen table. Always had parking available in garage. Would i rent this place again? Probably not...mostly because it really needs a deep clean,replace pillows, and do not want to walk down a muddy road and around construction to get to lift. Ive had a beach rental unit for 15+ years and cleanliness in my unit for guests is of great importance. We provide clean white sheets and comforters after each guest. I wish that River Run would provide that as well. I do feel, as an owner, that it is our responsibility to keep up with maintenance of the unit. I do feel this unit has been somewhat neglected. Again, still close to the lifts though.

Great location except for construction

The condo is in a great location to walk to the village and gondola but we did have to take the longer routes due to construction. It’s probably a 5 minute detour so nothing too dramatic. Also construction would start pretty early and could hear the truck backing up as early as 6:30am. There were a couple of times the condo fire alarm system went off which we all had to evacuate for 10-30 minutes. The actual condo had great space for 3 families. It contained several space heaters and humidifiers if needed. One room had an issue with the unit smoke alarm to be triggered if the showers steam reached it. Overall we had a great vacation.

Springs 5th floor condo

The condo needs some TLC. It was tired looking. One of the bathrooms had a shower that was all black at bottom. We scouted this location last year while skiing and appreciated how close the unit was to the gondola and kids ski school. Unfortunately, Keystone is building a new condo structure right in front of the Springs so our anticipated short walk did not exist. Also the 5th floor elevator was not working correctly, had to walk stairs for two days.

Wonderful Family Ski Trip

I could not ask for a better trip with my older kids and their spouses. Great location to ski lifts, wonderful views, and easy walk to the Keystone Village, etc. Also, Cody the Owner was great and communicative throughout the pre-rental process. Easy 4.5 stars!

Great summer stay

Condo had everything we needed. Great location, pool was very nice! Elevator didn’t always work but there was always people there trying to work on it. Struggled receiving the code to get and they were quick to answer and help us. Parking is horrible for more than one car. Thanks for the vacation memories!

Perfect Family Vacation

We enjoyed everything about the River Run Condo. It’s spacious and perfect for the 6 of us. We enjoyed the massage chair and the arcade game. The location is great too! We looked forward to going to the pool and jacuzzi every night. We loved everything about this condo because we were able to relax and enjoy our time together.

Beautiful View

The listing is accurate and it’s a great amount of space for a lot of people. The views from the balcony are amazing. The owner of the property did a great job with decorating and the beds are so comfortable. The massage chair was honestly incredible. I could have slept in it :) We did have a few issues but they were all with the building/ building management company.

Perfect Location

Property was in the best location of all of Keystone. We had plenty of amenities and kids loved the pool, spa etc. We felt the house really needed a de-clutter. Lots of extra kitchen items and random things that took up too much room. Closets were pretty crammed with stuff, so we were not able to use them effectively. Otherwise everything was amazing!
