A short stay.

A short stay. Very nice place with attention to detail. It started snowing and we had to leave to insure we got back to Vienna for our return flight home. The dinner and lunch were good. We were disappointed that they did not have the steak option we enjoyed on a previous visit. Very nice romantic place.

Nice hotel, excellent service

Good stopover hotel

This was chosen as a convenient stopover on our road trip around Europe rather than being a particular hotel we wanted to visit. Being out of season, it is hard to imagine how nice it will be during the skiing peak, but probably excellent! As we arrived late in the evening, unfortunately there were limited options for food, although the local delicacy was good and the person in the kitchen seemed to resent having guests! However, very friendly manager in the morning and some excellent breakfast, including the cheese made by the owners and lots of background on their wrestling success! Very quiet location and suggest it would be good to return to for family skiing trip!

Courteous and dutiful staff matters the most.

The second day of my stay was the most comfortable when I was given a room with a view. I was deeply touched by the warmth and courteous nature of the staff on the front desk. Saphia went out of the way in facilitating my visits to the glaciers and the water reservior. Not that I would love to return to ZurBurg Hotel but also recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

Nettes Hotel, gute Preis Leistung

Nach der Ankunft gab es gleich mal Kaffee und Kuchen aller Arten zum sofort essen, oder zum Mitnehmen ins Zimmer! Sehr freundliches Personal, Angenehm Klimatisiert, obwohl es draußen SEHR heiß war. Sehr gut geschlafen und ein großzügiges Frühstück haben den Aufenthalt wunderbar abgerundet!

Trevlig hotell i Kaprun vi gärna återkommer till

Hotellet ligger nära skidbussens första hållplats. Perfekt för att få sittplats. Lagom promenad in till centrum. Har bott där en gång tidigare och kommer att åka tillbaka. Hög ambition på halvpensionen. Trevlig terass med infravärmare för after-skii på eftermiddagen.

The hotels has been beautifully renovated. It has a very nice hot tub, swimming pool and sun room with great views, The rooms were very nice and breakfast was good. It is situated in a location with amazing views and the services was great.

This hotel has it all...plus more

We stayed in this hotel last week and it made our time in Kaprun even more memorable and exciting than we exspected. The room was very spacious with big confirtable beds. The pool and saunas (many different types) were amazing and all surronded with windows with the million dollar view! Breakfast and dinner were super delishious and staff is wxtremely helpful. This hotel offers everything needed for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend!!

Schönes Hotel für ein paar Tage Auszeit

Das Hotel "Zur Burg" ist ein sehr schönes gemütliches Hotel am Ortsrad von Kaprun und der perfekte Ort für einen Kurztrip in die Berge. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Vom Balkon aus hatten wir einen wunderbaren Blick auf Kaprun und das Bergpanorama. Insgesamt ist das Hotel sehr gepflegten und das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hat bei uns einen guten Eindruck hinterlassen.

Originally we booked 5 nights half board, but were so pleased with the friendly welcome, quality of food and the Spa facilities we booked an extra 4 nights. Well worth a visit especially with the free Kaprun Card entitling you to use of all local ski lifts etc. 'Ham and Eggs from the Kitchen' in the morning is a MUST....
