I would say that this is the best hotel in Kalibo. Have stayed here multiple times and the staff always remember us. Rooms are a little small but service is excellent.

The staff are nice and accommodating. There are lots of dining options around you within walking distance. You have a nice view of the city on the rooftop. This is the best you can get in a small city.

Its right beside Kalibo Plaza, right in the middle of the city. Lots of food options and shopping. The crew was amazing!! The rooftop restaurant is a must try cuz or the views and good service.

A nice hotel. Right on the plaza. Listened to 2 drum groups last night. Which i love. Surely very loud for festival. But perfectly located. Staff is kind and helpful. Building is fairly new and rooms are clean with modern bathrooms and ac. My new go to for kalibo.

The location of this hotel is perfect! It's right by the main plaza and close to restaurants, banks, and shopping. At night, we were able to walk around the plaza which was decorated for Christmas. Our room was clean and the A/C was cold. Our room was a bit small, but we were only there for one night so it served its purpose. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cafe downstairs and the seating outside was perfect for a quick coffee or snack. The restaurant upstairs was also nice for a lunch that included Filipino dishes. The sinigang was delicious! I would highly recommend GQ Plaza Hotel for your stay in Kalibo!

We arrived late to Kalibo during the hours when their shuttle was not in service. The front desk helped arrange a taxi for us, which was super helpful and convenient. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. The rooftop restaurant served good americanos and provided a great selection of brunch, lunch and dinner options. The view is a huge bonus too. Will definitely stay here again if I were to come back to Kalibo. Thank you!

2 nights kalibo stay

The hotel is located at the center of kalibo aklan.. the hotel is kind of brand new.. checked in is fast, not busy though at that time i arrived.. front desk and guard was courteous and friendly.. their foods and smoothies in the top floor restaurant was really good and i enjoyed it.. i like the good service from a restaurant servers.. you can enjoy too indoor or outdoor dining, with the view of kalibo city in the outdoor area.. a little issue i experienced though, i requested to provide my room with a 1 extra bathroom tissue but they didn’t do so.. checked out is pretty standard, they checked your room first before they completely checked you out.. overall a good experience and i recommend the hotel for your stay in kalibo..

Kalibo vacation

The cost for overnight stay is tantamount to the quality & service offered. Overall we were satisfied since we leave early and go back just to sleep/rest. The room has no ceiling light except for an accent hanging from the side which i noticed was not working (i forgot to inform the lobby) and a reading lamp beside the bed. The bathroom has a sliding glass door but can’t be locked and it slides open. This is great for couples but not for siblings or friends.
