While the resort itself is absolutely beautiful, unfortunately the service fell short in some key areas. Upon check-in, we were not informed that a complimentary breakfast was included every morning — something you would expect to be mentioned, especially when you're paying $1,500 USD a night. Additionally, the resort charges 8–10 times the normal Uber rates to use their shuttle service around AlUla, which feels like blatant price gouging. It's a stunning property, but be prepared to get heavily overcharged for just about everything.
