The hotel is in a very convenient location. It’s only a 5-minute walk to Çemberlitaş Station, and most of the famous sightseeing spots are within walking distance. It was the perfect base for exploring the city. The facilities are a bit dated, but it wasn't an issue for me. More importantly, every staff member was so kind and helpful. I can't thank them enough, especially Mr. Dogan and Mr. Ezel, who went above and beyond! The breakfast room offers a fantastic view of the city, which was a great way to start the day.

The breakfast was fresh and the view very nice. All the staff are friendly. We'd especially like to thank Mr. Ali. He contacted us before our trip even began, which made us very happy. A small hotel with a great and safe location. The sheets and towels were clean, and there was coffee, tea, a heater, toiletries, and a hairdryer. It met all our expectations for our 3-day trip to Istanbul, and we recommend it to everyone.

I definitely recommend the Olimpic Hotel. It is very close to the Hippodrome & the Aya Sofya & the staff were all absolutely wonderful. I was treated like a special friend by all the staff. Margarita, Dogan, the receptionist & the breakfast staff were all so kind and helpful. The roof terrace has a magnificent view & the breakfast was healthy and filling. Comfy bed and good shower.

The hospitality was amazing. ALL staff we encountered were amazing people who were very welcoming, polite and helpful. You receive unlimited tea, water and coffee down at the lobby after being there for almost a week they already knew my preference and would just bring it out. 10/10 recommend. I saw a comment saying it gives a 5 star hotel feel and I agree. The is a smaller hotel but such a great option also very close to the grand bazar and the tram to get around the city.

Budget-friendly basic stay

Reception staff were lovely and ever so helpful. However the hotel itself is a bit run down - there were some holes in the walls, the towels and bedding weren't completely clean, no mirror in the bedroom and the breakfast was bland. Lovely views from the rooftop cafe though, and great location for transport and sightseeing.

Great option for an Istanbul visit!

The staff was great, very accommodating. The breakfast area was great, top floor of the hotel. There was an elevator, so that wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was plentiful for a European buffet. Loved the bread and the juices. Had boiled eggs, but more lunch meat and veggies than I would say was breakfast. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The ac was great- once we figure the slide on the front covered lots of features. But highlight- it was very close to everything on the old town - Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, even Topkapi Palace, the grand bazaar and spice bazaar area. A great place to visit from if you are wanting to walk and be right in the midst of things.

Don’t stay here. The rooms need a deep clean to say the least. There was weird black hairs on our sheets when we first arrived, open used shampoo bottles in our bathroom and the halls had a weird odor. The staff was extremely loud in the mornings and would talk very loudly and play music around 8 am. Breakfast was poor and you couldn’t tell the difference between used and unused silverware and cups/glasses. The only good thing about this place is its central location otherwise it’s not worth the stay or money.

こちらのホテルには何から何までお世話になりました🙏 whatsupでISTからの送迎を頼み片道€50でした。他のホテルは€75だったりするのでこちらはリーズナブルかも。ただし、現金のみなので注意！トルコリラでも払えますよ。まず、小さいですが素敵なロビーでターキッシュコーヒーやターキッシュチャイをサービスでくれます。一日中歩いて観光に疲れたらおじさんが紅茶を毎回出してくれるのでまるで実家に帰ってきたのかくらいの安心と安らぎをくれます。笑 お部屋は綺麗ですが、友人が入ったあと使い終わったお湯がタンクにまた溜まるまで少しまってシャワーしましたがすぐ冷たくなったので断念…シャワーの窓が常に空いてるのでお部屋はあったかいですがシャワーやトイレ洗面所がある場所は寒いです！それ以外は文句なし！！ ルーフトップのビューを見ながら朝ごはんを期待していましたが、リノベ中なので二軒お隣のレストランで朝食でしたので一瞬ですが外に出てから入るので寒い冬はジャケットを。 朝食はとっても美味しくて特にパプリカ、茄子、にんじんのローストは美味しすぎました。ゆで卵にスペシャルスパイスがかかっているのやビーツサラダも美味しすぎて、二泊したので次の朝が楽しみになるくらいでした。立地は最高で初日の観光が終わったらまさかこんな近くにホテルがあったのかと驚かされるくらいの場所にあります！笑　アヤソフィア、ブルーモスク、地下宮殿、この三つがすぐそこの徒歩圏内なので一日目で全て回れちゃいました！ それだけ近いし、たくさんモスクがあるので朝方お祈りがガンガン聞こえるので耳栓をしながら寝ました。それもまた異文化にいるんだなーと感じさせてくれますよ。 Thank you so much for making our stay so cozy! The staff who is in charge of making chai and coffee was always there for us to feel relaxed. Whenever we comeback from long day sightseeings, he always asked us “chai?” and answer is (you guessed it) .. “Yes, Please!” I felt like I was at home in this cute little lobby. They have arranged our transpirations from and to IST and we communicated via Whatsup. It was €50 one way but please be sure to have cash since they only take cash. The breakfast was the highlight!!! Due to renovation, it wasn’t at their rooftop; however we were two buildings next to the hotel to have a breakfast there: roasted peppers, carrots and eggplants were off the chart as well as devils egg type of dish and beets salad!

O hotel Olimpic é uma verdadeira gema no coração de Istambul. Numa ruazinha encantadara, a poucos passos da praça do Hipódromo. O café da manhã, é simplesmente delicioso..O quarto, muito bom e espaçoso. Mas o melhor de tudo foi a equipe: funcionários amáveis além do imaginavel: Mahmud, Ali, Shukran e os demais, todos merecem nota 10. Espero voltar a Istambul e ficar novamente no Olimpic.

Nous avons eu un très bon dîner sur le toit avec vue sur la Mosquée Bleue.(-20% pour les clients de l'hôtel) Une chambre avec vue sur la mer avec balcon, le directeur est très serviable. Petit bémol, il faut encore faire quelques efforts au niveau propreté pour éviter les moisissures dans la pièce d'eau, le sol et rample escalier proche de la cuisine, un congélateur mis devant l'accès à la salle de petit déjeuner.

Fotograflardaki gibiydi. Deniz manzarası güzeldi. Bulundugu bolge gece saatlerinde cok canlı. Rahatlikla aile olarak tercih edilebilir. Odada bir iki eksik vardı, hemen temin ettiler. Odada balkon olması cok keyifli oldu. Sabah kahvaltisi çok güzel. Acik büfe ve yeterli secenek var. O bölgede kahvaltiya gitseniz kisi basi 700-1000 aralığında ödersiniz. Kahvaltidaki hanimefendi cok güleryuzluydu. Firindan yeni çıkarttığı yiyecekleri masalara servis yapması cok hoş bir detaydi. Temiz oda ve guzel kahvaltı icin teşekkürler.

Biz çok memnun kaldık. İkinci defa Olimpic Otele geldik ve pişman olmadık. Odalar gayet temizdi. Kahvaltı güzeldi. Çalışanlar da çok anlayışlı ve yardımseverdi. Ulaşım çok kolaydı. Bir daha ki İstanbul ziyaretimizde tekrar Olimpic Otelde konaklamak isteriz.
