Wonderful stay!

It was an amazing stay at Hotel Katelya! The staff were super friendly & extremely helpful. The amenities were great, room was lovely, always clean & tidy - breakfast was delicious! Close to all the tourist spots. Love the quaint little street it was on.

An excellent family owned hotel, few minutes from the blue mosque and the tram station. Very clean, beds are very comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were amazing specially Yasin at the front desk. The only thing i didnt like is that the shower box is a bit small specially for chubby guy like me other than that everything elses was perfect.

Hotel is ok. Staff are really friendly and kind. The superior room shower is small, and the bathroom is small. Bed mattress abit creaky and broken. Breakfast could do with more hot food options and rotation of options generally. Walls are paper thin, can hear dogs howling at night. Overall does the job for a cheap stay. Would rate 3/5.

Katelyn Hotel was excellent and it’s in a short walking distance to many attractions in the historical peninsula. Hotel itself is a typical boutique hotel; however, their service differentiates them from the rest. We were five families traveling together stayed at this hotel and all of us liked them. They not only made their terrace available for my grandson’s birthday party, they brought all utensils we needed for the party. They didn’t have to do that. Whenever we needed help, they were always there to help. Their breakfast is excellent and broad selection of food for their size. In many other countries like Italy and France, you would have less than half what they had. I usually don’t give hotel reviews, and when I do I am a very though grader. Rarely a hotel gets a five star rating from me. But Katelya hotel deserved one.

Very handy for the principal sites in the old part of town. Exceptionally helpful staff who helped to book travel to and from the airport and arranged a boat trip along the Bosphorus.

It was a friendly easy convenient stay. Very accommodating as we had booked the room the wrong date and were able to add an extra night with no problem. They are available 24/7 for any help you may need which is a plus. It is about a 10 minute walk from many of the main attractions which we loved. I would stay here again!

Excellent hotel. Great service The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and with many choices; it was a very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. The location is great- very near Central Train Station. I would recommend to friends and family, and will definitely stay again if in Istanbul

Good hotel near key historical attractions. Varied breakfast and staff are all very polite. They also helped us with booking a taxi for airport transfer which was nice. Areas for improvement - only one iron/ironing board for whole hotel so sometimes had to wait also ironing board is very mini size - please get a full size ironing board for guests. Showers are also very small - you can just about get in. Overall would recommend this hotel for its kind staff, good breakfast and excellent location!

We stayed in istanbul for 4 nights at the katelya hotel - honestly cannot fault this hotel. The hotel is situated in an excellent locations only 5-10 mins away from main sites and tram in Sultanahmet. We had water in the room on arrival and the room was immaculate. The buffet breakfast was amazing, but i think what really made the holiday exceptional for us was the staff. Each and every staff member so helpful especially Fahad and Yaseen who both went above and beyond on a few occasions whether be to provide directions to advice about trams or to fend off unwanted followers! Will definitely be recommending this hotel to others and stay here again. Thank you all!

The Hotel is located in the heart of Sultanahmet area. The Staff is amazing. The main building is awesome and I was told the annex buiding will be upgraded soon. I stayed in the annex building and can only give me review about the annex building. The annex builing is across the street from the main building. It is an old apartment house from what I can assess - reminded me of my apartment in NYC one bedroom and kitchen living area and a bathroom. I hope they do the reno work on the annex building soon. Half the apartment was slanted :) (I could feel everything was rolling to one side). The property is just a few steps away from Hagia Sofia, Blue mosque and Topkapi palace. Lots of dining options available. Grand Bazaar is about a 15 mins walk. I have to give 5 Stars to the staff! Very helpful and approachable. I would recommend this property to families and friends that would like to explore the area walking.
