The building is in a good location, Metro near by and shops nearby are relatively cheap compared to sultanahmet however some places charge in dollars! Bedrooms are small Bathroom is tiny, can barely fit to have a shower!

Staff were friendly and helpful especially Abdul Qadir at reception. Family room for four was a little small. Air conditioning wasn’t brilliant but did cool the room. Breakfast was the same everyday. No variety. Our toilet got blocked and wasn’t working for 2-3 days.

On day 3, I got tired of the same breakfast. They need more varieties in that area. Food was good. Hotel is conveniently located near main points of interest in Istanbul. We chose it on our second stay but was disappointed by the uncleanliness of the bathroom and one of the comforters provided was full of stain, blood tinged area, and dirty. When I called the reception, they provided me with other blankets. No questions asked. For short stays, it is ideal.

We left and didn’t stay shortly after checking in. The room was covered in broken glass and finger nails. The pool on the roof was covered in bird poo plasters and a mound of dirt inside. The pool tiles were broken and missing in most of the pool making it unsafe to use. We requested a refund but were unable to get one even though we left with hours of checking in. We mentioned the cleaning of the pool and room to the staff but nothing was done about it. No that it would have made the pool usable.

There Internet WiFi services are very poor, there breakfast menu is mostly for local people not used as a continental breakfast such as they don't provide fried eggs or omelette they charged us. When you are travelling with family, your children are required this type of breakfast even though they don't have bread..they used mostly Turkish breakfast not continental.

During my recent stay at the Grand Washington Hotel, I found the building to be visually appealing and the location convenient. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations. The rooms were small and the furniture appeared worn and outdated. The staff's proficiency in English was limited, making communication challenging. Despite being classified as a four-star hotel, the amenities and services provided were more in line with a two-star rating. The high room rates did not align with the quality offered, as the air conditioning was subpar and the internet connection slow. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to others.

Stedet ligger godt midt i det hele. God service og personalet var hjælpsomme. Der skulle havde været træningsmuligheder, men det virkede ikke desværre, men der er et steder 500 meter derfra. Morgen personligt syns jeg der mangler lidt mere frugt.

pour l accueil : au niveau de la réception est correct par contre au niveau de la salle du petit déjeuner c est une catastrophe, pas un bonjour y compris en turc, un sourire, une attention pour les enfants, on vous ignore, sauf si vous parlez turc, si vous ne parlez pas turc on vous dévisage, des fourmis dans les pastèques que j' ai signalé la personne m'a fait comprendre que c'est normal 🙄, à plusieurs reprises déçue de ce qui a été proposé : des céréales pour les enfants avec un goût de périmé, le jus en poudre sans exagéré imbuvable sans parler du café, vous finissez a peine votre assiette qu on se précipite pour vous la prendre et débarrasser, à 10h pile on fait comprendre aux clients que c est fini en éteignant les lumières au dessus des plats, la chambre : vue sur les toits, les coussins si volumineux qu il est impossible de poser sa tête dessus, le lit des parents trop petit il est clairement fait pour des enfants jusqu'à 1m50, absence d éclairage suffisant dans la chambre pour pouvoir se regarder en se préparant, le siège très bas par rapport au miroir c'était incroyable je n' avais jamais vu ça 😂 dans la salle de bain aucun article de douche habituel dans un hôte et sans compter les serviettes rêche. la piscine sur le toit, c'est un mensonge ça relève plus d' une pataugeoire, cela faisait partie de me critères et j' ai payé pour ça c'est une publicité mensongère,conclusion comment Expedia peut laisser cet hôtel en 4 étoiles malgré commentaires des clients ?

J'ai passé un séjour agréable dans cet hôtel. C'est un hôtel très propre et confortable. On a une vue incroyable de tout istanbul au dernier étage, une piscine et un espace de détente.
