You have to stay at the Hammamhane Hotel. The location is awesome, the hotel is beautiful and relaxing, the staff are super helpful and friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. I’ve already booked another stay when I come back through Istanbul on my travels.

Top floor suite had a 2 balconies -lots of light. Spacious and bonus was the washer/dryer, decent size refrigerator with separate freezer and even a dishwasher. Staff was helpful and arranged a cab for our return flight. The hammam next door was great also.

Everything about this hotel is top notch. You will be warmly welcomed and taken care of during your stay. We stayed for 10 nights in a “suite with terrace” - an exceptional one bedroom apartment with a beautiful terrace looking towards Galata Tower and the old city. Breakfast was filling with many choices. Hot and cold dishes changed daily supplemented with fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, etc…The location was ideal. Approx 10 minutes walking to Tophane tram, 10 minutes to Taksim metro and 5 min to Istiklal. Many, many restaurants and coffee shops within 1-10min walk.

Perfect for a long weekend

This is probably one of my favourite hotel stays ever. Perfect location, nice decor, friendly and very helpful staff (spent 2 of our days following their advice for touring Istanbul) , great breakfast and the hammam was a perfect way to relax.

This is a great place to start your discovery of Istanbul! Rooms are very quiet, clean, and modern. The included breakfast is great as well, we always felt stuffed and ready to go for our Istanbul exploration. You can borrow a Instanbul Card at the front desk, which is convenient and allows you to use all public transportation. The staff is extremely helpful, they organized our airport transfers and we were able to book a service in the connected Hammam with them. If you go, make sure to also plan time for a relaxing service at the Hammam! All un all, we would stay at Hammamhame again when visiting Istanbul.
