Great location, friendly staff

Green energy hotel

Hotel was dated, what’s amazing is that it uses 100% green energy. Shoit out to one of the staff named David, he even walked us to the nearby restaurant to have dinner as we checked in real late. Breakfast spread is mediocre.

Better the 2nd time around!

This is my second stay at Grand Yavuz in three weeks. I must say this time my rating is higher-- the wifi system is much improved! We have four rooms booked and all of us appreciated the fixes they made to wifi. Recommend this hotel for walking to old city attractions (grand bazaar, egyptian bazaar, trolley line, hagia sofia, blue mosque). Also a safe nighttime neighborhood even for single women walking.

Hotel stay was ok

Hotel was just ok. It was under renovation, and did not offer a lot in terms of amenities. The room was clean, and comfortable. Which was perfectly fine, considering I didn’t plan to spend much time there. The staff were not overly welcoming, but respectful. Except for one man in the breakfast area. He was friendly, lively, and very helpful. I enjoyed seeing him each morning. The location was good, and accessible to the old city, Sultanahmet and the grand Bazaar. Easy walking distance to both areas. I would stay again, but have no higher expectations.

Its an ok place

This hotel is very clean and located in a great location. The issues we had were customer service except one individual who was very nice. They say, tea and coffee in common area but there are none. We went to get tea at the restaurant and willing to pay for it and tgey refused to serve. No coffe makers in the room. Price hugh for what they offer

Easily walk to blue mosque, grand and Egyptian bazaars, Ayasofia, trolley and ferries. Breakfast options good. Rooftop bar with Bosporus and views of all sites was a hidden gem. Wifi was inadequate. Slow with one device but three devices in same room made it non functional (there was no major downloading/streaming happening). We had multiple rooms on different floors and this was consistent in every room and lobby. Also the room keys in 2 of the 4 rooms had to be replaced multiple times.
